Lee Stroble has the perfect background to explain how an atheist became a Christian. He approaches the Jesus truth as a journalist. His explanations are checked out for truth. He reaches out to experts for why each question can be answered. Through the book he shows the what, why, when, and how being a Christian is well the best decision to have eternal joy. God wants His children to only ask.

Max Lucado is a gifted speaker and writer. Jacob became a modern day questionable character. Max brought God's perfect character to wash over a man who had to take some of his own medicine. I recommend this particular book to understand how God never gives on us.

Understanding my Native Family

I was enthralled with the present SD accent first. My connection has been with Rosebud Indian Reservation. My journey began in 1962 when I married. I gave birth to my son. This gave me a beautiful granddaughter and my great granddaughter. In the first year of marriage, I found another level of love by adopting a 2 year old daughter from Rosebud. She was the natural daughter of my husband. She then had 4 children, giving me multiple great grandchildren. I was fascinated by all the knowledge I learned from these experiences.

What drove me to read this book was to understand the Indian religion when compared to my deep faith as a United Methodist Church member. I wanted to understand my granddaughter who was raised with Indian traditions. She has been with me for 10 years. I wanted to be educated in the comparison of Christianity.

This book in it's rendition of faith disturbed me greatly. My belief was attacked by this author. yes, the white man has done ghastly acts against people who were here First! I find all this to agree with my thoughts. However, the attack on Christ was most disturbing. This author made fun of my belief of how we have been ridiculous. He gave no respect but hatred. I think his belief that WHITE CHRISTIANITY was why all problems of native people exists. He gave an untrue description of Christianity. He mentioned there are no deep faith people like the beginning of man. There are many who are experiencing true faith as in the Bible.

I respect the all the information that I know to be true with the exception of Jesus Christ.

In summation, I loved the expansive history that has been presented to my reading. I only wish in one area, we could show one another that today this 80 year old white woman dose not represent the racist white people of the time when the two peoples came together. Please read this book for all who want shared love and respect.

The Kennedy Mystic

I adored the details of Joe and Rose Kennedy's marriage till the loss of Kick. knowing the history, I could anticipate each story. President John Kennedy is where I fell in love with politics. He has remained my favorite President. The details of the writer as presented kept me spell bound. Kathleen, I know about her life is a great joy for me.

I have always enjoyed Beth Moore. This book has helped me in my understanding of a gifted writer. I am working on my story and was able to learn more. I didn't think Beth could deepen my journey with Jesus, yet I was taken to a deeper understanding of women in a goal of sharing Jesus.

Having been one of billions of fans of Lucy, I reveled at a fascinating story. I was 9 years old when I began watching. Now at 80 I found the true woman. I thank her children for getting published so I have new insight.

I receive each Wednesday a devotion via email, a devotion from Billy Graham's Grandson, Will. He always has questions to read from this book. The excitement of answers I remember in one source all answers that interest me. I highly recommend this book.
