This book is an absolute blast! If you're a fan of space adventures with a mix of humor, drama, and a touch of the unexpected, this book is for you. The story is packed with action, witty banter, and moments that will tug at your heartstrings. I loved it and the whole series so far. Watch out for legal eagle, though. ;-)

Incredible Journey

Another amazing entry in the Spellmonger series, one of the top tales of the age. What incredible journey the author has taken us on, and the breadth of this installment is staggers the imagination of the reader (me, ok?!). I love the storylines he has woven together and John Lee narrates them perfectly. I look back to the first book and track the incredible journey I have been on, listening to these books. I am grateful. I encourage others to start at the beginning and join the voyage that lies ahead, fathoms below.

Another amazing tale by Marc. It was gritty and gripping, and great to hear this early chapter of Romans on a new world. I was moved when Romans freed prisoners, made new alliances and so much more. Great writing!

What an amazing story and potential end (but let’s hope not) to a laugh out load series! This ranks as one of my all-time favorite storylines and I will be listening to the whole 15 books again. Thanks to RC Bray and Craig Alanson for bringing these characters to life.

Having listened to other werewolf tales like Breed, I had fearful trepidation that this tale of werewolf mayhem would be engaging. Wow, what an amazing tale. No needless horror, action-packed and suspenseful right through to the end. The time spent in character development was well-worth it, and I found myself hoping for a sequel from somewhere in the middle. This particular tale is the dip in the series, I suspect, that place where things are darkest and hope seems a distant hope. This reminded me of what werewolf tales are supposed to be like, full of unchecked terrible power in the hands of fierce, clawed and toothy creatures, ripping and tearing...well-worth listening to and sympathizing with the characters as they succumb to bestial desires or commit to fight.
