Historia
US Marshal Arliss Cutter is a born tracker. Raised in the swamplands of Florida, he honed his skills in the military, fought in the Middle East, and worked three field positions for Marshal Services. When it comes to tracking someone down - or taking someone out - Cutter's the best. But his newest assignment is taking him out of his comfort zone to southeast Alaska. Cold, dark, uninhabited forests that are often shrouded in fog. And it's the kind of case that makes his blood run cold.

Great start to a series
Revisado: 03-12-25
The characters were believable. The pace was slower than Carr or Greaney, but it was appropriate. Arliss Cutter is more a street level operator than his contemporaries. He isn’t crashing 3rd world economics or destroying Russian mob families, but he always gets his man. That’s the vibe of this first book. Having lived in Alaska, I appreciate his attention to detail. Looking forward to more.

Historia
The man who became known as Esrahaddon is reported to have destroyed the world’s greatest empire—but there are those who believe he saved it. Few individuals are as divisive, but all agree on three facts: He was exiled to the wilderness, hunted by a goblin priestess, and sentenced to death by a god—all before the age of eight. How he managed to survive and why people continued to fear his name a thousand years later has always been a mystery...until now.

Wonderful bookend to the series

Michael Sullivan continued to weave the threads of his wonderful world like a master Artist. This book had good tension throughout and the end paid off the banger of an opening. Tim Gerald Reynolds exceeded his usual brilliance with some delightful new voices.

Amazing listen
Revisado: 10-04-23
This story starts off really fast and you are pretty much thrown right into the action but everything is really simple to understand and the performance of Jason Keller makes it sound like the main character is actually a teenager and everything is just overall amazing.

Historia
A new adult epic fantasy novel with complex cultures, unique fantasy words, accents, and both male and female main POVs. Fated Blight has a word count of just over 129,000, and is the first novel in The Sum of Ages, a six book series. The series has some dark/violent scenes and themes, but no profanity or explicit sexual content.

Great characters, great story, clean fantasy
Revisado: 08-06-22
This book demonstrates the strength of the indie author. I had never heard of the author before I read this book, and I was so pleasantly surprised. I've read so many books by published authors that were far inferior to this one.
This is a true creature feature. No humans! It features characters from an aquatic race of people, and a strange four-kneed race. They were well described and established. The two races were woven together via shared cultural differences and similarities. I enjoyed the arc of both POV characters.
The magic is subtle and doesn't figure in greatly to this story. It's interesting and I hope to read more about it in the subsequent stories.
The writing is very polished and well edited.
As a noblebright author and reader, this book gets a thumbs up. No swearing, no on page sex. The political intrigues and complex emotional content make it an adult story.

Historia
Long ago, men harnessed the Channels of Power, creating tevisrals: devices capable of manifesting magic. But men weren't the only ones to accomplish such feats. Dragons crafted the most sophisticated tevisrals. These shaped the world, defining civilization of man and elf alike. Over the centuries, the people of Kalda have fallen into a dark age, where elves are estranged from men and dragons have retreated into legend.

Michael Kramer and epic fantasy
Revisado: 08-03-22
It’s like chocolate and peanut butter. The story moves slowly, but it’s a good slow. It’s a Robert Jordan type of slow. The characters are enjoyable and the Magic system is interesting.
The authors have crafted a vast, interesting world and we get to explore it. I bought book 2 on kickstarter and can’t wait for November.

Paul Steele, known to the world as Baron Steele, isn’t your average masked crimefighter. As a matter of fact, he doesn’t even wear a mask. And he doesn’t even fight crime anymore. That’s for the guys with too much brawn and not enough brain. No, Steele works in consulting. After having his license revoked by the Guild of Masked Crimefighters, he decided he would scout talent instead. Match up heroes with their villainous counterparts, help the young bucks and buckettes discover their talents and abilities. That sort of thing.

Use his new abilities to hunt down demonic beings that have infiltrated the mortal realm. This time, the White Throne has sent him to the middle of nowhere: a Western town called Dead Acre with a saloon, a moldy church, and little else worth talking about. There isn’t even a sheriff.
