Historia
Amber Patterson is fed up. She's tired of being a nobody: a plain, invisible woman who blends into the background. She deserves more - a life of money and power like the one blond-haired, blue-eyed goddess Daphne Parrish takes for granted. To everyone in the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, Daphne - a socialite and philanthropist - and her real-estate mogul husband, Jackson, are a couple straight out of a fairy tale. Amber's envy could eat her alive...if she didn't have a plan.

This was my first introduction to Liv Constantine. When I tell you I’m hooked! Enjoyed this story so much and whew the emotions I had while reading let me know this story was FANTASTIC. You won’t regret getting this story but make sure to check out the prequel first for more background on the devious life of one of the main characters. The narrators were awesome and the story was a great pace. Would definitely recommend for buddy reading or a book club. I can’t wait to pick up another Liv Constantine novel😊

Historia
Soledad Barnes has her life all planned out. Because, of course, she does. She plans everything. She designs everything. She fixes everything. She’s a domestic goddess who's never met a party she couldn't host or a charge she couldn't lead. The one with all the answers and the perfect vinaigrette for that summer salad. But none of her varied talents can save her when catastrophe strikes, and the life she built with the man who was supposed to be her forever, goes poof in a cloud of betrayal and disillusion.

Soledad Hermosa 🥰🥰
Revisado: 03-10-24
I loved the story! I’m so happy Soledad got her own story and found true authentic love. Loving yourself first is something we all forget when navigating family relationships and life’s ups and downs. It was wonderful to see her growth and how much her and Judah were willing to wait for the other to be ready. 5 out of 5 stars!

Historia
Kayla, Evelyn, and Trina have been on-and-off-again girlfriends for many years, but the lines of true friendship will be crossed, the knives that go into another friend's back will cut deep, trust will not apply, and no one will share their dirty little secrets. With enough backstabbing, finger-pointing, and disrespect to go around, this trio sticks to their motto of "What she can do, I can do better; and whatever she has, I want a piece of it too." Much competition is thrown in the mix, and jealousy is so thick that there will be no place for anyone to run when the mess hits the fan.

Frenemies!!!
Revisado: 07-02-23
Let me just start of by saying that personally I could not like any of these girls lol!! E pissed me off from the very beginning and I knew she was going to be trouble/nasty heffa! K was just D.U.M.B.! I was rooting for her in certain parts, but each time she continued on like she couldn’t believe that C was a low down dirty dog. T, we’ll I actually liked her and enjoyed her story. I was sad she had to hide who she was and could not be real with those she called BFFs. Their friendship was terrible, and E only used K, not to mention wanted to wear her skin. K was oblivious to who her friends really are and only like the image she could should show the world. T was confused, but did come around in the end. She wasn’t a real friend though keep the tea to herself lol. Overall, I enjoyed and binged this book. I can’t wait to start the next one!

A great story!
Revisado: 07-17-22
This story was beautiful and evoked so much emotion in me! Black Girls Must Die Exhausted is a story of Tabitha Walker, an how she is in a fight for everything she wants in life. From the shocking start of the story, to the professional struggles women deal with everyday, to the girlfriends you love, to the family struggles nobody talks about, and finally the overcoming of all the hurdles, Tabitha’s story has it all. I loved all the characters, and the fact the story touched on social issues still going on today. The narrator was wonderful and I would definitely listen to anything she narrates. 5/5 stars!!!! On to book 2!
