These characters are unforgettable
Revisado: 08-08-24
I loved everything about this audiobook. The sibling relationships. The friendships. The romance. Everything. The writing was heartfelt and the banter was bantering. I will definitely recommend this series. The narrator was exceptional.

Sage: Born into the secret organization Venom, my only mission was to help eradicate the virus that turns humans into vampires. My first night in the field I killed a bloodsucker, causing his vengeful brother to stalk me, arrogantly playing with his food before the final kill. Being terrorized by Luka was stressful enough, but when information about my organization is revealed, I struggle with my own moral code. With help from him and some other supernatural enemies, we begin to uncover secrets my society is hiding.

Hiding out in the charmed world has its perks: fae do your laundry, doors can lead to other dimensions, and the dragons are only pigeon-sized. But the downsides to magic are rearing their monstrous heads at Lorelei Fischer. With the deed found and the mysteries around the bewitching bed and breakfast nearly unraveled, Moonlit Shores Manor is finally under new management. I stay for the quirky cozy characters..
Revisado: 05-21-24
This is such a fun delightful fantastical series. These characters are so cozy and quirky. I really just love all of them, including the sentient manor. I did think as the final book it dragged a bit, and the secret human aspect was a bit drawn out. I did wish for a little more romance focus based around Conrad and Lore. I just loved their dynamic. But otherwise I enjoyed per usual. I just really love Caggiano’s writing. And Quay is lovely to listen too. I definitely recommend this series for entertainment, especially the audio version.

In my small town bookstore, I’m surrounded by book boyfriends, but I've never had one in real life. At almost 30, I’m painfully shy, I’ve never been in love, and my bookstore isn’t breaking even. Something needs to change, and I know exactly who’s going to help me—Wyatt Rhodes, the guy everyone wants.

LOL funny one minute, swoon the next.
Revisado: 09-02-23
The audiobook is amazing. Duet narration is supreme. 5 stars for the audio!
I love Stephanie Archer books. The first half of this book is GOLD. I was laughing my ass off one second then swooning the next.
We get a surfer guy and a bookworm girl, (which tended to get overused by the end) who team up to get her to be a hot girl. Not just looks though, her personality was more the focus. Which I liked. And she helped him with social media. 💁🏻♀️
But I do have one qualm with romance books.. if the MMC calls the FMC “baby” I visibly cringe. I don’t know what it is. It’s definitely a ME thing. But I don’t like it. Nope.. I don’t. Especially in audiobooks when I have to hear him say “baby” during the spicy scenes. 🙉 eek.
I loved Hannah, up until the end during the third act conflict. I did not like how she acted. It really turned me off from her.
I can’t wait to get to the next one in the Queen Coves series.

A supernatural young adult delight!
Revisado: 08-23-23
This story engaged me from the start. Gotta say, the dad only drinking “tomato juice” got me in the beginning.
The mc Mikey is just a wholesome boy who happens to suck the life out of people slowly and he has no idea why. We get to follow him on his journey of finding out who, and what, he is.
I laughed out loud multiple times throughout this story. It’s thrilling, heartwarming, and magical.
Some of the dialogue could lean more on the corny side, but I think I just got too old and cynical in that department. If I was younger it probably would have been a 5⭐️.
But I really enjoyed the writing, characters, and plot twists. I really enjoyed the friendships. Marcus was a fav. All in all it was a good time.
Will definitely read more of this authors work.
The narrator did a great job.

Historia
Lorelei Fischer has finally settled into her new life at the enchanted bed and breakfast Moonlit Shores Manor, and besides that teeny tiny attempt on her life—which, by the way, she survived—things are going great. Hiding the fact she's human from the charmed folk is second nature, even if the fae who glamoured her has suddenly gone missing, and her job managing the front desk is a breeze, even if her succubus coworker is swamped with a mysterious side hustle.

Historia
Lorelei Fischer desperately needed somewhere to spend the night, and, as if by magic, Moonlit Shores Manor appeared. But there’s a cost for everything, magic included. More than willing to escape her old life and fill the open position at the bizarre bed and breakfast, Lorelei quickly learns of the dangers waiting for her. She’s only human, after all, and casting spells, shifting into wild animals, and caring for mythical creatures aren’t exactly in the wheelhouse of a former barista and art school failure.
