Good storyline, almost

This was a great storyline kept your attention. The ending is what fhrew me. I don’t think anybody would go to the trouble that was done to figure somebody out. That was unrealistic.

A true addicts life

Listening to this after Matthews passing really puts addiction into perspective. I had no idea what people go through and how it truly is a mental illness. His story timeline is a bit all over the place. It’s sad that he finally found peace and was not able to live long enough to do more with that peace. Only God knows why.

Very repetitive and disappointing ending

A lot of whining, the same thoughts over and over again from one of the main characters. I fast forward when that character was speaking. The one time I needed more details at ending and I was left hanging. Several times I almost gave up with the book but I had a lot of time invested in it.

A twist and a great finish

I enjoyed this book because of the twist and turns the kept me guessing. I love the ending. I highly recommend it. Also was glad that the curse words were very minimal.

Very Repetitive

I felt like this whole story could have been cut in half timewise had there not been so much repetitiveness about the The town not excepting newcomers, the vibe that the mountains gave off, And Abigail’s imagination of the people that had died, where they’ve been now where they had stood. The story was good. It just took forever to get to the point.

Slow moving, hang in there it gets better.

The first two hours or so I thought I was reading a book more suited for a teenage girl.
Not R-rated details of their physical relationship but it was repetitive. I read over and over how he lightly kissed her forehead or barely kissed her lips I got it. . It got to the point where I would fast forward. The storyline itself was very good. Small details in the beginning of the book came full circle to fit into the story. It wasn’t at all what I would have guessed. It kept me intrigued till the end.

Going nowhere

I have 5 hours left to finish “What Alice Forgot” and I just don’t know if I can do it. Alice asks question after question about her past. She is either ignored or given a sentence of truth. This far along in the book could have been said within 2 hours easily. If anyone has read this book and tells me to keep listening, it gets better, I will do so. Otherwise I wouldn’t waste my time.

In this book I saw how people of color have different social classes. I really never gave that much thought. I do wish the ending had been decisive. The way it was left I guess I needed to make up my own ending.

Kept my interest

I enjoyed the story line, especially the part of adding a trip to England. I visited Althorp and the mansion where Downton Abby was filmed. It brought everything I experienced back as I listened to this book.
Easy to listen to.
