the narration was amazing! I love when they can really change each voice so that you know who's talking, but especially the emotion! I love me some Nicholas Sparks, but the ending left a little more to be desired. Either way, still another one I'd recommend to friends!

Josephine Bailey captured each character's voice perfectly. I loved reading these novels, and love Libba Bray, but Audible and Josephine bring each character to life for me! Thank you!

One of my favorite books as a teenager and still over 10 years later. Narrator is AMAZINGLY PERFECT! Easily the best audio book I've ever listened to after already reading it myself! Bravo!

Absolute and utter brilliance

After reading this book 6 times, hearing it never got boring. I love Nick's voice for young Kvothe, although I thought of him with a slightly deeper baritone, it was great. He captured each character's personality with the voices that he used along with inflections, which was awesome. My favorite series. Hands down. Pat has an amazing way of developing characters so that you get to know each one personally, even if they're only appearing for a second, so I'm so glad that Nick portrayed each one the same way that I read it. I'm so excited for the third book and can't wait to listen to it on audible after I've read it!

Absolutely phenomenal!

After reading this book 8 times, it was wonderful to have the voices for each character come to life through Nick Podehl's voice.

Patrick Rothfuss is my favorite author of all time. Hands down. His story of Kvothe is not only epic fantasy, but also extremely relatable. After reading it several times and listening to the audio book version of it, I can honestly say that I have not yet been able to get through this book without weeping through the heart-wrenching dark parts, sitting on the edge of my chair during crucial moments, and laughing out loud at some of the small, amazing, beautifully subtle jokes that he makes between characters. I can't wait for the third book. Seriously, go buy and read this book or buy and listen to the audio book. You won't be disappointed.

Nick Podehl is a magnificent voice actor. I loved how his voice fit for Kvothe's character. Although, I must admit, I heard him having a slightly lower baritone while I was reading it. I loved how seemlessly Podehl was able to capture not only the voice, but the essence of each character as well. I will definitely be looking for more audio books read by him.
