Rose and her mother were my favorite characters.

Both, I loved this book because it made me feel like I was a part of the story. I felt like I was back in the Civil War...

I haven't read the print version,but I am sure I would have enjoyed putting my personal spin on how the characters may have looked,their mannerism and speech patterns..

What was one of the most memorable moments of Courting Miss Amsel?

When she bravely risked her life to save a student.

Have you listened to any of Laurie Birmingham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't.. I enjoyed the narration however.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Well no, but I didn't want it to end.

Any additional comments?

I love the strength of dedication , moral christian character of the young teacher and her friend in this story. They made wise decisions for the most part based on God's words.

Yes.The story had a familiar story line but with lots of turns and twist.

Kitchen House

What aspect of Linda Stephens’s performance would you have changed?

As a southerner the southern accent left a little to be desired.

Jasmine's husband kept you guessing what he would do next!

What did you like best about The Witch of Hebron? What did you like least?

I enjoyed book one in this series. The parts I enjoyed updated what was happening to the characters featured in the first book minus the frequent sexual alliances.

Would you be willing to try another book from James Howard Kunstler? Why or why not?

Maybe if the sexual contact is lessened.

Deeper Water Phenomenal Read

Yes I would recommend this book. It has everything.Deep Water is a mystery, a love story and a thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. Most importantly you can feel the love of God emanating from the pages. I love the main character and her family,I can't wait to read the sequel!

Tami's Parents are wonderful devout people,that are raising a beautiful family .

World Made by Hand Was Quite an Enjoyable Read

If you could sum up World Made by Hand in three words, what would they be?

Enjoyable,Realistic& Thought Provoking

What did you like best about this story?

That the characters showed a world where the main characters were basically moral and Christians.

This book will cause you to be thankful to God for the small things we take for granted.

Which character – as performed by Jim Meskimen – was your favorite?

Robert ,although I was confused about his relationship with his friend's wife.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes ,the way the community supported the widow of the man that was killed at the General.

On the trip to Albany I was touched by the compassion the men showed by taking time to bury the poor suicide victim and her husband.

Looking forward to book two.

The character changes the main character made as his financial status grew.

What does Anthony Heald bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved the way the narrator gave each character a personality/ voice.She is amazingly talented.

Riches Can and Do Corrupt!
