What a bizarrely entertaining love story! Mr. Almond has an amazing singing and vocal performance voice. I've never quite experienced an audio story such as this one but I must say, I didn't hate it... Not at all!😄 At times the subject matter came from WAY out of left field and a little, no a LOT, tongue-in-cheek humorous, but it was wickedly fun! Definitely a fun-filled hour!

A man is discovered on a remote island of Jamaica by a lone woman rushing home to baton up her house before the arriving hurricane. The man is completely naked, with no identification or belongings AND no memory of WHO he is, or WHERE he is! The woman feels she can not leave his fate to the storm so she puts him in her car and takes him to her home, there are no hospitals within reach before the storm hits. Though she is wary, she feels somehow, he will not harm her.
This audiobook was really entertaining and kept me amused throughout, I recommend!

It is exciting, full of secrets and betrals, individuals questioning their own self worth and the motives of others. I was even shedding tears more than once for different reasons. Yes, this is the kind of tale that grips you from the beginning and won't let you loose until the final word is spoken. 👍🏼

What an incredible production and deeply intriguing story! The Narration is fantastic and so easy to listen to and become immersed in the time and place, as if you were there experiencing the action along with the characters. The mystery, deceit, and action make this story one I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great read!

This novel, I feel, is written with young adventurous boys in mind. I did not enjoy the overly dramatic Narration of the storyteller, honestly, it seemed to drag on an on... AND ON... I very much enjoyed the first book, "The 13 1/2 Lives. Of Captain Bluebear" and would certainly recommend that for all ages~ it was delightful!💙 Gaaa! 😉

👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏼This is such a fun rom-com to listen to! Dr. Liam, a veterinarian from New York City, is moving back home to a very quaint and charming little town that is famous for housing a glitter factory. Because of the factory, the streets and the town are literally SHINING with glitter embedded everywhere! There are ducks quacking and swimming in glittery pink kiddie pools in the Town square, hense the name, Duck Falls.🦆🦆 The shiny decor of the town seems to suit the inhabitants just fine though, as a high proportion of them ARE women.🤔
Liam felt it was time to be closer in proximity to his parents, maybe slow his life down and think about what he wants his future to look like. Perhaps Duck Falls and it's women will help in his new quest?

😖😵‍💫🤯 Okay. Just... WOW! I Just finished listening to the audiobook and my mind is completely blown! First, there are SO many adjective's I could use to describe this incredible story? Historical happening? Anyway, whatever you choose to call this heart wrenching work, it truly should be required reading or listening. I think listening, because the audiobook is AMAZING. YES, partly because the narrator is THAT good, but also because of the sound effects, the news interviews, there is just a lot you would miss if one were to read it in black and white (if it exists?). Another thing I wonder to myself is, why do I not remember ever hearing of John Africa and his Family? His outrageously wild and wonderful philosophical ideas and way of living~ MOVE! I found this completely worth every moment of my time. There are some pretty graphic moments and descriptions, death, dying and murder. It is not for the faint of heart, some of the deceased are children.🥺 It is basically, a true historical crime.

While she clearly and respectfully declined his invitation, he is quite indignant. And thus sets into motion a domino effect of events that affects individuals and families alike!
A heart stopping, exhilarating, creepy and at times really sad story! I REALLY enjoyed the narrator of the audio version! Oh and this poor young women has to grow into adulthood with the voice of a little girl! Ugh! That alone would give anyone the "heebie-jeebies"~ like a pull string doll!😖😵‍💫 Anyway, if you like phycological thrillers, READ/LISTEN!!👍
