Historia
Ponyboy can count on his brothers. And on his friends. But not on much else besides trouble with the Socs, a vicious gang of rich kids whose idea of a good time is beating up "greasers" like Ponyboy. At least he knows what to expect, until the night someone takes things too far.

Historia
Daniel Mulligan is tough, snarky, and tattooed, hiding his self-consciousness behind sarcasm. Daniel has never fit in - not at home in Philadelphia with his auto mechanic father and brothers, and not at school where his Ivy League classmates looked down on him. Now, Daniel's relieved to have a job at a small college in Holiday, Northern Michigan, but he's a city boy through and through, and it's clear that this small town is one more place he won't fit in.

Historia
Only a few years ago, Alex Honnold was little known beyond a small circle of hardcore climbers. Today, at the age of 30, he is probably the most famous adventure athlete in the world. In that short time, he has proven his expertise in many styles of climbing and has shattered speed records, pioneered routes, and won awards within each discipline. More spectacularly still, he has pushed the most extreme and dangerous form of climbing far beyond the limits of what anyone thought was possible.

Great listen even if you've never heard of Alex Honnold! Particularly liked the changes in writing style between narration and Alex's perspective. If you're a rock climber, or just an extreme sports fan, you'll love this book.

Historia
Kelly Phillips has been out and proud since he was a young teenager, and thanks to the gay youth group he frequents, he's never been short on friends or lovers. But when you have almost everything, it's hard not to focus on what's just out of reach: a best friend who would be Mr. Right if he wasn't already Mr. Straight. Or that handsome athlete at school who would be easier to wrangle if not for his angel wings. And then there's the guy who might be a perfect fit, maybe even a soul mate...if only he wasn't convinced he didn't need anyone.

Getting to know 2 formerly "minor" characters
Revisado: 11-12-15
This is a great addition to the Something Like series that let's us get to know 2 (really 4) characters from the past even better. I love how connected and intertwined all the characters are with each other, Jay does such an amazing job of giving long time fans better insight into characters we may not have liked so much from past books and allows us to walk in their shoes for a while. In the end you can't help loving and understanding each and every character! Amazing!

Remember that hunky guy on YouTube who caught your eye? The one with the awesome pecs and killer smile? I bet you couldn't stop watching his videos. Just imagine if you had a chance to meet him and all your fantasies started coming true. There's only one catch: Between you and your dream guy is his less-than-pleased boyfriend. They say that love conquers all, but can love conquer love?

Adorable Short Story and Amazing Message!
Revisado: 11-11-15
Once again Mr. Jay Bell delivers! I LOVE every book I've read of his so far, this was my first short story and boy did it speak to my heart. I relate so much to both Evan and Orlando. It's incredible how much emotion, humor, and sincerity Jay conveys in this cute little short... combined with an amazing message and loveable characters, a definite must read!

Jason Grant doesn't have much, aside from a beat-up old guitar and knack for getting kicked out of foster homes. His latest placement is set to be just another in a long line of failures. Then he meets Caesar Hubbard, a handsome guy who lives down the hall. For the first time in his life, Jason wants to stay, which means learning to be part of a family, and not letting his feelings - or his actions - ruin his first real chance of falling in love.

I seriously can't get enough of this amazing series. I was jumping up and down with excitement to see 2 new additions just within the lady couple weeks. Needless to say they have been purchased and I'm starting the next one now. By far the best book series ever, what a journey with characters that have become life long friends. Thanks Jay!

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Great book, so realistic and thought provoking. Exciting and gut wrenching moments blend with the day-to-day routine, though not mundane tasks of survival on a foreign planet. Well done!
