great survey of Ancient Creation stories

I really love listening to this lecture series. Dr. Joseph Lam does a great job highlighting these ancient myths and their similarities. I really enjoyed the accompanying PDF. As a lecture series, it's a bit dry if you're not interested in ancient mythology. This may not be the best first exposure to these myths, but it is certainly an excellent scholarly presentation and analysis of them.

Beautiful. I got so much more than I expected.

for me, as an artist, this was one of the most moving and touching stories I've ever read. I got this book to learn more about Gustav Klimt, but I got so much more. The story of Klimt's passionate relationship with Adela Bloch-Bauer unfolded to reveal a gem bigger than the both of them. It's rare that a story moves me to tears, but this one had me weeping. beautiful! A triumph of the human spirit, and of love, and Art.

love the Sandman

I loved the content. However, I found the narration very boring and struggled to stay engaged.
I also wish there was a PDF file that accompanied this book showing the works discussed.

Absolutely Loved this book

I have loved werewolf movies and stories since I was a boy. For a long time I have despaired over the lack of substance the genre has offered. This series by Blackmore is exactly what I've been waiting for. Great story, great writing, great narration. I want to see more of what happens in this world.

I really enjoyed this anthology of short stories. the narration was great, each story is accompanied by a short prologue by the author, absolutely fantastic.

I was excited to read a modern take on the Little Red Riding Hood story. However, it was quite a stretch. the story was sort of a lazy blending of most post-apocalyptic movie cliches. The characters actions and motivations were not believable. The main characters are college aged, but the drama and dialogue felt like Middle School.

The narration was pretty good, but overall, I was disappointed and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
