Historia
I only try on one of Nina’s pristine white dresses once. Just to see what it’s like. But she soon finds out...and by the time I realize my attic bedroom door only locks from the outside, it’s far too late. But I reassure myself: The Winchesters don’t know who I really am. They don’t know what I’m capable of....

Too Dark
Revisado: 03-03-25
Well written but not for me. More of a dark psychological thriller. Not a world I want to escape to...

Historia
Lily was last seen being tucked into bed by her adoring mother, Nova. But the next morning, the bed is empty except for a creepy toy rabbit. Has Nova’s abusive ex stolen his 'little bunny' back for good? At first, Officer Ellie James assumes this is a clear custody battle. Until she discovers that there are no pictures of the girl and her drawers are full of unused toys and brand-new clothes that have never been worn...Is Ellie searching for a missing child who doesn’t actually exist?

Twists and Turns
Revisado: 10-10-23
The trick for me with mysteries is that they possess enough twists and turns to make things interesting and unpredictable yet not so many that they seem contrived and hard to keep up with. Also the pace at which important pieces to the puzzle are unfolded. I hate books that I have the answer to after the first few chapters as well as the ones that wait until the last chapter to dump everything. Masterful writing in my opinion AND great narration!

Historia
Laurie is an artist, a collector of experiences. She travels the world with a worn beige duffel bag. “Dr. Liz,” Laurie’s mother, is an elegant perfectionist who travels the world with a matched set of suitcases. When Laurie surprises her mother with a dream vacation, it brings an unexpected sparkle to her eyes. So begins Things I Wish I Told My Mother. You will wish this novel never ends.

Delightful
Revisado: 10-06-23
Narration was EXCELLENT! Story was delightful and engaging. I was easily drawn in! Characters, even the minor ones, are very real and well developed. Loved it.
