I was confused b¥ the audiobook. A friend read the book and there's special layout and formatting that guides the reader. Unfortunately those "guides" don't exist with the narration...which was dry and boring. I had difficulty discerning his actual trip experiences and all of the history he piles on.

This book is written by a sports fan who doesn't realize his audience may consist of non-sports fans. I listened to the audiobook and there must be a total of 30-minutes of recited stats for various pro athletes. What made the experience of listening to Bossypants the most enjoyable?

I don't know if I would have enjoyed the book as much if I'd read it. Listening to Tina read her own words...it's just so real and honest...and very, very funny. I'm anxious to recommend the book to friends who are
