Awesome book
Revisado: 10-09-23
Phenomenal writing and performance. I’m an avid Stephen King and Dean Koontz reader and listener. This story competes with the energy and urgency of to keep reading or listening I get from them. I don’t mean to compare the writer to them but they are my favorite authors and how I measure other authors. Also the Lady reading the books Performance is awesome. The way she Portrayed the creole character is spot on. Being from Southeast Louisiana can close my eyes picture vividly the character she is portraying. Again absolutely wonderful story well portrayed and at a pace that you can’t help but wanting to finish.

In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

Miller investigated dozens of remarkable and sometimes high-profile horrific gun, bombing, and arson cases. These accounts show true crime enthusiasts what federal investigators regularly face. All investigators could use this as a detailed textbook to see and feel the highs and lows, with the good and bad experienced by someone who has been through it.

Horrible!
Revisado: 04-16-22
I couldn’t finish this audiobook. It’s like someone is reading a book poorly translated by a computer. A lot of the sentences don’t make sense. Most of the words and phrases are poorly put together, don’t make sense or are complete gibberish. The voice reading the book has the same monotone steady cadence. It sounds like they are unable to pronounce any of the words and don’t understand the rest. It is an embarrassment for Audible to have this in their catalog. DO NOT waist your time or money on this book. It’s hard to believe that someone somewhere didn’t pre read or listen to this audiobook. Again it sounds like a book translated from another language to English by a computer and read by another. It may have valid interesting information but in this context and poor translation any context or learning is lost in the poor performance unintelligible language used.

Historia
As the true horrors of the Third Reich began to be exposed immediately after World War II, the Nazi war criminals who committed genocide went on the run. A few were soon caught, including the notorious SS leader Heinrich Himmler. Others, however, evaded capture through a sophisticated Nazi organization designed to hide them. Among them were Josef Mengele, the “Angel of Death” who performed hideous medical experiments at Auschwitz; Martin Bormann, Hitler’s brutal personal secretary; Klaus Barbie, the cruel "Butcher of Lyon"; and perhaps the most awful Nazi of all: Adolf Eichmann.
