Life in it's truest form.
Revisado: 09-20-17
Since the first 3 chapters, this book changed the way I saw the world and the way I correlated it to my life; it changed my life, it changed me. It's something that can hardly be fully described with words, but I was able to find a side of me and of my life that I never even thought it existed; I found myself. It's as if someone came and told me, "this has been your life, this has been you, but, breaking news, it doesn't have to be that way."
This is a book that you read or listen, but which you LIVE and EXPERIENCE.
Having Matt Furey narrate it himself adds strong emotion and a profound, personal connection to the material that will reosund with any human being willing to learn how to live and function the way we're supposed to.

Viva el Quijote! Tan valeroso como discreto!
Revisado: 09-05-17

A solid dose of estoic truth for the times.
Revisado: 07-17-17
As ancient as the work may be, the principles contained therein are as applicable now as they were in the 2nd century AD (time around when it was written) as they were in the beginning of time and as they'll be in the end of times. This along with many other works by illustrious minds (Confucius, Sir Thomas Moore, Saint Thomas Aquinas, G.K. Chesterton, etc.) are vestiges that vouch for the truth and which are still here to remind us of our true nature, not the nature that we have superficially concocted.
Mr. Alan Munro is a paragon at giving the text a profound voice that vitalizes its meaning and brings its nature to life.

Historia
Confucius was a Chinese philosopher who lived from 551 BC – 479 BC. Although he is usually listed as the author of The Analects ( wise sayings ), it was actually a group of his followers, years after his death, who wrote down his words and descriptions of his daily life. The philosophy of Confucius emphasized morality, "the proprieties" - correctness of social relationships - as well as justice and sincerity. A major goal of his conversations was to get his disciples to think deeply for themselves by relentless study of the world.

Wise words of a true sage.
Revisado: 07-03-17
As simple as this book may seem, once you understand its meaning you'll be exposed to pure wisdom that's effective today as it was in ancient times. Humanity must remember this kind of wisdom, even more so nowadays where people constantly forget themselves and allow their psyches to be lowered by denigrating and unfruitful material. People tend to think that forgetting all these teachings means to "evolve," but instead they devolve through technology and the lack of use of their recalcitrant minds.
Wise is he who thrives to understand and tunes his nature to the world and not to oneself.
Mr. Jim Roberts delivers an exceptional and soothing narration that elevates the content of this book to an utmost form.

Revisado: 06-26-17
The Aeneid takes the essence of the epic greek poems and enhances it with as much sword and spear as a sense of nobility that sways elegantly through its iambic pentameter.
Moreover, the remarkable Mr. Charlton Griffin and the whole production make of this legacy a true example of mastery.

Revisado: 06-05-17
This is an amazing little story that has more to tell than its beguiling prose. It's a powerful reminder aimed directly at us adults who have allowed ourselves to lose that magic we used to have when we were kids and which makes everything around us come to life.
There could not be a narrator more fit than the great B.J. Harrison for this treasure tale.

The most significant of which is a 6'7" tall mummy.

Epic poem by an epic narrator
Revisado: 05-18-17
More greatness can not be bestowed to the Odyssey already than it has been bestowed to the grand legacy and enduring power it carries. It is a transcendental masterpiece that will never come to be equalled or rivaled in any way, for writings like these ought not to be produced by the lower minds of today and of the even more degenerating future ahead.
To this epic poem add such an epic and captivating narrator like Dan Stevens, so immersed into the essence of the lore and so uniquely professional in his work, and you have a treasure of mythological proportions.

A story & performance impossibly good to describe.
Revisado: 05-05-17
This book is a mere reflection of life in its true form; not the life that the peremptory, modern and technological world has boasted and failed to explain, but the true, spiritual life of humanity.
This story ought to make a big impact on the payche of every reader, but if the reader be acquainted with the hidden knowledge of the foundations of the true world based on the ancient beliefs, then The Count of Monte Cristo ought to make a yet more profound impact in its revealation as an initiation into life. (read or listen to ancient texts or The Secret History of the World by Mark Booth to understand what I'm saying).
Moreover, the unequivocally precise and reviving performance by Mr. John Lee turns the works by Dumas into true enjoyable and heartful journeys where the reader is immersed into the story as much as the narrator is. Praise for The Count of Monte Cristo, and praise for John Lee.
