I am a highly educated American woman and I really enjoyed this book. Arron does have a lot of British humor that, as an American, I didn’t fully grasp. That being said, it made me laugh. He is absolutely right about not taking everything seriously and I appreciate that message. Next time, write one for us Yanks!

Amazing Story but needs a little more time
Revisado: 09-20-16
This story was perfect. The idea that each character got their "word" in on the experiences that were unfolding was very touching. But the execution was a little lacking. Jumped around a little and was a little hard to get focused. Overall, very touching. Very beautiful and the ending was more than I could have hoped for. Makes you feel good.

This book was amazing! Don't pass this up! I love all romance historical works and this one didn't disappoint. Kate makes sure to develop her characters in a way that is most beautiful and takes hold within you. What a beautiful work and a beautiful narration! The narrator did the story justice. Kate does justice to all those who struggled and fought Hitler till the bitter end. Really moving.

Historia
Although Everett Cline can hardly keep up with the demands of his homestead, he won't humiliate himself by looking for a helpmate ever again--not after being jilted by three mail-order brides. When a well-meaning neighbor goes behind his back to bring yet another mail-order bride to town, he has good reason to doubt it will work, especially after getting a glimpse at the woman in question. She's the prettiest woman he's ever seen, and it's just not possible she's there to marry a simple homesteader like him.

Amazing Story!

Beautiful work of Christian literature. Dragged a little but hang on and the story is well worth the wait! Narrator wasn't my favorite but she did the story justice.
