Historia
Old ghosts of different kinds come back to haunt Felix, in the fourth gripping Felix Castor novel. Names and faces he thought he'd left behind in Liverpool resurface in London, bringing Castor far more trouble than he'd anticipated. Childhood memories, family traumas, sins old and new, and a council estate that was meant to be a modern utopia until it turned into something like hell...these are just some of the sticks life uses to beat Felix Castor with as things go from bad to worse for London's favourite freelance exorcist.

New narrator a better fit

Any additional comments?
I've read the other comments about the new narrator and I don't agree. Yes, it is definitely a shock to change narrators after three books, but Damian Lynch does a much better job of capturing Fix's personality than Michael Kramer, in my opinion.
Kramer is a find narrator and actor, no question. But Fix is a street rat from Liverpool, a self-described scouse. Kramer makes him sound like an Oxford Don, and in the first books I often felt a conflict between what Fix was saying and the way it was being delivered.
Lynch does a much better job of capturing the street sense, the quick temper, and the overall feel of Felix Castor.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
This audio book had about a page missing at the end of the chapter on the roof of the opera, and several pages missing at the end of the torture chamber chapter.
