Historia
June 5, 1967: The fearsome, Soviet-equipped Egyptian Army and its 1000 tanks are massed on Israel's southern border. Meanwhile, the Syrian Army is shelling the much smaller nation from the north. And to the east, Jordan and Iraq are moving brigades and fighter squadrons into position to attack. Egypt's President Nasser has declared that the Arab world's goal is no less than "the destruction of Israel."

This narrator is simply horrible
Revisado: 01-24-23
There is simply no way to sugarcoat it.
It’s totally beyond belief that this guy was allowed to narrate a book that makes him pronounce the Hebrew words so poorly
He’s butchers every word. It’s disgusting

Historia
In 1988, Alphabet City burned with heroin, radicalism, and antipolice sentiment. Working as a plainclothes narcotics cop in the most high-voltage neighborhood in Manhattan, Detective Sergeant Mike Codella earned the nickname “Rambo” from the local dealers, as well as a $50,000 bounty on his head. The son of a cop who grew up in a mob neighborhood in Brooklyn, Codella understood the unwritten laws of the shadowy businesses that ruled the streets.

Shvacha Maises (weak story )
Revisado: 01-10-22
The book was basically boring and listening to some mook brag about old stuff that’s likely exaggerated and only a small percentage is really true. Don’t waste your monthly credit (like I did ) for this one.

Historia
Hasidic Williamsburg is famous as one of the most separatist, intensely religious, and politically savvy communities. Less known is how the community survived in one of New York City's toughest neighborhoods during an era of steep decline, only to later oppose and also participate in the unprecedented gentrification of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Nathaniel Deutsch and Michael Casper unravel the fascinating history of how a community of determined Holocaust survivors encountered, shaped, and sometimes fiercely resisted the urban processes that transformed their gritty neighborhood.

Great story TERRIBLE ORATORY SKILLS
Revisado: 12-30-21
This narrator should never ever narrate another book. Don’t buy the audio book rather buy the book because it’s a good true story
