An average guy on an average day.....
Revisado: 06-04-20
Flex is an average guy on an average day who is thrust into a zombie reality. The author has a way of making you feel that you know him. He meets extraordinary people and gets a second chance with the love of his life. The pace is quick and it never drags. On to book 2!

Historia
People - lots of them - are going missing on the island nation of Aruba. Jack Hunger has a funny feeling it’s not by natural causes. Fearing the worst, he and Wayne Olsen must hop a flight from south Florida to the Caribbean to find out the truth. Allyson Hayes and Chad Steiner were set loose on the promise they had become human, again; that they no longer required or desired human flesh to live.

HOLY COW!
Revisado: 05-27-20
I am an avid listener to Eric's books. I love his stories and also his narration. I would put this among my favorites! It weaves so many threads. Things seem to run parallel and I couldn't wait to listen and find out when they would cross. He has the ability to paint the picture of his characters, their surroundings, and their decisions (which are complicated). The Camera Series is so unusual but so is Dead Hunger Series. HIGHLY recommend this book!!!

Historia
Prosperity and progress fill the days of the orphaned survivors and their animal companions. The fierce winter and the battle with Gordon and his gang are fading memories - until new friends emerge and old enemies resurface to shatter their fragile existence. They thought they were doing good. They thought the hard part was over. They thought they were the only survivors left in a zombie-ravaged world. They were wrong.

You become so invested in this story
Revisado: 03-05-20
How do you know a story is good? You become invested in the characters and develop strong feelings for them (both negative and positive). Eric A. Shelman brings the story to life (as usual). The first installment introduces and develops the characters but this story makes you so invested in them. I found myself talking to radio especially when it came to the "not so nice" characters. I really developed strong feelings for the warriors and those they fought. I can't wait for the third installment! Well done all around!!!

Historia
Follow along in this explosive conclusion to the Lycan and Demon Fallout series. Angels, demons, lycan, vampires, witches, and one very psychotic clown all battle for Maker’s Earth. Some to destroy it, some to claim it as their own, and still others just to preserve it. Michael Talbot, the master of finding friends in the most unlikely of places, is going to need all the help he can get as he has been singled out to not only be killed but to be erased from history. Who will come out on top in this no holds bar action packed romp spanning the under, middle, and over worlds?

VERY SATISFYING CONCLUSION
Revisado: 03-06-19
I have been engrossed in all of Mark Tufo's timelines/realities. Lycan Fallout has become my favorite because it allowed the reader to follow Talbot from the ground up so to speak. This final book of The Lycan Fallout/Demon Fallout weaves many threads from many stories. The reader is left satisfied knowing the fate of those they love and loathe (or a little bit of both). Thanks Mark and Sean for bringing this to life!

Historia
After decades of planning, the contagion was unleashed, and overnight hundreds of millions died and came back as rampaging, undead monsters. The living that had been lucky enough to survive the first day of carnage, lucky enough to be in the right place, and lucky enough that some of them had the skills to survive soon found out there was much more to worry about than just zombies.

UNIQUE
Revisado: 05-10-18
I love the zombie genre and listen to series from Tufo, Shelman, O'Brien and it was Eric A. Shelman narrating that brought me here. The set up for this zombie event goes a totally different direction then any other books. It taps into current events to a certain extent and is by no means PC ( which I appreciate).
Gunny, the primary character, draws you in quick. It is an average working man who has a past that holds a few skeletons (whose doesn't). He is honorable and speaks his mind. As I listened, the dialogue in the book is what the average American would be thinking and saying. If you are one of the gun loving NRA members, you'll appreciate this.
The BA truck idea, while not new, is definitely amped up in this book. Eric A. Shelman is a great narrator. Keep on truckin' into the series (okay, really bad pun) :)

Historia
When the black rain began to fall, it was a worldwide phenomenon that mystified everyone. Climbing Fox Wattana of the Henomawi Nation claims responsibility for the black rain and its effects; he says it is his revenge against the United States government for robbing his people of their land, ensuring their ultimate extinction. Cole "CB" Baxter isn't taking this lying down. He, his sister, Lilly, and Dr. Georgina Lake will flee the airboat-tour business in the Florida Everglades and attempt to rescue what family they can.

Zombie meets Margaritaville
Revisado: 05-10-18
I found this book via the narrator, Eric A. Shelman. I had listened to his books (read his first one, which is a non fiction) and decided to give it a whirl.
The set up for the zombie event is unique in this book. It doesn't try to be plausible necessarily, just different and world wide. I also like the initial setting of the Florida Keys and thus the zombie gators.
I most enjoy characters in this book and CB and Lilly are wonderful. They are brother and sister so the banter that goes between them is quite funny (if you have siblings, very believable as well). There is also the idea that you do anything for family.
The mark of a good zombie book is looking forward to the next one and what will happen....I look forward to this series.
If you enjoy the genre then you will enjoy ONSLAUGHT. Get yourself a Margarita and sit back and enjoy.
