Capable Anachronism. More please!
Revisado: 03-15-25
Take yourself back in time like this and think of how well that you would do. Putting yourself in this character is a fun ride once you get used to the engineer mindset that seems to be a slow start.

Historia
The Victors know nothing but war. It has shaped them and changed them in ways that they didn't think possible. Now is not the time to lament on the friends lost, the wounds gained. The medics might be able to patch them up, but they can't heal their minds. Harmony is making their play for Earth, and the Troopers will be there to greet them. The Victors are finally going home over 200 years since they left for Sacremon. The last system-wide battle between the EHC and Harmony is about to begin.

Bueller... Bueller

If Ben Stein was a narrator this guy is it. How do you make an exciting action scene boring? I listened to the whole series because of the great content not the narrator.

Historia
From his corner office on the 44th floor of the Bank of the Americas tower on Wall Street, Tom Smith, global managing director for security, could see the Statue of Liberty, Battery Park - and a ravening zombie horde. Officially, Smith was paid to preserve the lives and fortunes of employees, billionaires, and other clients. And with an implacable virus that turned the infected into ravenous zombies tearing through the city, the country, and the world, his job just got a lot harder.

Fills in on what happened to Tom right up to about a month before the Smith family started clearing ships. I'm hoping that this is a trilogy. I loved that the Brewmistress of the Keldara was mentioned. LOL!

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Awesome story for someone who grew up in the 80s.

Lots of laughs. Nostalgia galore. Having Wil Wheaton as the narrator is a great touch.
