Historia
You think you know about Islam. But, did you know that Islam teaches that Muslims must wage war to impose Islamic law on non-Muslim states, or that American Muslim groups are engaged in a huge cover-up of Islamic doctrine? These and other "politically incorrect" facts are revealed by Robert Spencer in The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades).

Interesting content but…
Revisado: 07-13-22
Enjoyed the content of the book and learned new information. However, hearing the narrator audibly gasp for breath between sentences is obnoxious and distracting. I will probably add this narrator to my short list of ones to avoid in the future.

Historia
Ibn Saud grew to manhood living the harsh traditional life of the desert nomad, a life that had changed little since the days of Abraham. Equipped with immense physical courage, he fought and won, often with weapons and tactics not unlike those employed by the ancient Assyrians, a series of astonishing military victories over a succession of enemies much more powerful than himself. Over the same period, he transformed himself from a minor sheikh into a revered king and elder statesman, courted by world leaders such as Churchill and Roosevelt.

Enjoyed the content, well written. However, I got tired of listening to the reader gasp for breath between sentences. If this cannot be edited from the final draft the reader needs more practice.

Historia
The vivid, fast-paced account of the siege of Khe Sanh told through the eyes of the men who lived it. For seventy-seven days in 1968, amid fears that America faced its own disastrous Dien Bien Phu, six thousand US Marines held off thirty thousand North Vietnamese Army regulars at the remote mountain stronghold called Khe Sanh. It was the biggest battle of the Vietnam War, with sharp ground engagements, devastating artillery duels, and massive US air strikes.

Interesting perspective on this battle.
Revisado: 10-23-20
All in all I enjoyed the story, it added a personal connection to the battle with the personal stories from soldiers and marines that served there. The narrators pronunciation of the word Vietnamese is annoying, hence the one star rating for his performance.
