author says a lot but also leaves us with many questions. intriguing and exciting to learn so much about the mycelial network. he doesn't pretend to be an expert, but shares what he's learned throughout his life entrenched and entangled with studying nature. I liked this book a lot, just thought I might learn a bit more? Merlin's voice is lovely and I enjoyed listening to him read to me. ☺️

kinda interesting

hmm, mixed feelings on this one. overall I liked it but I didn't love the last section, Rachel's.
I think it was free, so that made it easier to like. and I think Jesse Eisenberg did a good job writing it and imagining the future. I guess the ending (again, Rachel's part) was pretty anticlimactic. but not a bad way to spend my commute and it got me thinking a bit which is the goal!

horrible. amateur author, horrible narrator, boring and pointless personal anecdotes with very little useable info. author pats himself on the back repeatedly and makes no sense, points out painfully obvious info, just says pointless bullshit.... for a book on effective communication the author couldn't have communicated any more inefficiently! worst audible purchase I've ever made.
