Engaging and Worthy of High Praise

Julie Oleszek writes beautifully. Although each of Julie's novels are great in its own right, this one really captured my interest and invoked a range of emotions. It may be my favorite. The characters are believable, and the historical information is true to the time period and well researched. The narration of this book impressed me too. I highly recommend this title. If you like historical fiction, you will want to read this book! I look forward to Julie's next book.

This book is brilliantly woven. The layers and flow are the result of a collaboration of a publisher/author collaboration as co-authors. Be sure to listen to the author chat at the end of this audible version. I found it very interesting as to how their writing process works. I look forward to listening to their next book!
