Historia
He was known as the Wildman more than 100 years ago, terrorizing lumberjacks and farmers who complained that their lives were at stake. The American Indians, depending on their tribe, had many names for the Creature: Sasahevas, Sasquatch, Bukwas (wild man of the woods), See'atco (one who runs and hides). What would Native American Indians have to gain from falsifying the existence of a Beast?

Waiting with baited breath
Revisado: 01-28-23
I feel this is one of their best books (which is saying something). The richness of characters, the vivid painting of scenery and of course… the story. Many seem disappointed that this books leaves one hanging. I find it exciting and love the fact it gives me something to look forward to. Bravo Lincoln & Child - you’ve done it again with gusto!

So sad it’s done
Revisado: 01-19-23
I wish this book could go on forever. Absolutely loved the story & the characters. Had just a sprinkling of horror - enough to give one chills. But it was the family you got to know and their daily living which made this book so pleasurable.

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

Heart wrenching and beautiful
Revisado: 07-18-15
Heart wrenching may sound like a cliché, but that is exactly what this book is. It is also heartwarming, and beautiful. I think it is a must read/listen for just about any adult. I also really liked the narrator, she added another layer of beauty to this story. Magnifique !
