Historia
Two-thirds of executives say their organizations don't have the capabilities to support their strategy. In Strategy That Works, Paul Leinwand and Cesare Mainardi explain why. They identify conventional business practices that unintentionally create a gap between strategy and execution. And they show how some of the best companies in the world consistently leap ahead of their competitors.

Solid strategy book
Revisado: 10-06-24
I thought the content of this book was really strong with some relevant examples. It’ll be interesting to see how the companies they profiled stand up overtime, similar to Jim Collins good to great.
I did find the narrators voice to be somewhat annoying and difficult to listen to an audiobook format. I will, however, buy the hardcopy version so I can have some of the concepts for future reference.
My recommendation is to buy this book in hardcopy format versus in audiobook

Incredible example of how apply God-given talents.

Amazing American Success Story. My major criticism is as smart as he is, he should have had someone that is more exciting to listen to read the audiobook. He was super dry. Almost sounded like an AI generated reading.

Good Story - Limited Actionable Plan
Revisado: 06-16-24
This was a great story to reinforce the importance of getting back to what made humans the top of the chain on earth.
The author had a personal story, which made it relatable. However, if you are looking for a super fact-based evidence-based book, probably not for you. However, if you are not one that enjoys the scientific mechanisms and more prefer the “layman’s” version, this is a great book.
As most people don’t have weeks for long trips or the financial resources, I would have liked more examples of how one could expose themselves to challenging situations. I’d like to see how we can introduce ourselves to these sorts of things in smaller doses. Maybe even for our children early in this age of screen-based exposure to the world.
