Awesome advice for setting up a grimoire
Revisado: 02-21-23
Lots of great advice on how to set one up with lots of encouragement for doing so. Listen and you'll use a few tips like I did (Using Midori journals for example).
The only negative is a repeated mention that smudging with white sage is an illegal practice of cultural appropriation. I dont know why but several books I have read lately are saying this and it is not true. It is not illegal and most Native Americans do not consider it offensive if the practitioner is performing the smudging ritual with respect and not as a costume or trendy practice. Many I spoke to said they would be honored if more people understood and followed their traditions.

Buy the book, not the audio
Revisado: 01-17-23
Not its fault but as you can imagine recipe books are not good audio books. Alexandre really made a good book of correspondences and fun cocktails but that is it. She accurately says the most important part of a spell or potion is intention... the recipes and correspondences are second. Thus even a cup of coffee or tea is all you need, even just a cup of water. You don't need recipes and correspondences, though they can be helpful.
She is fun and clearly is passionate with her craft. I'll buy the book and make some of these drinks for sure. She adds a lot of interesting magickal facts and history to the book as well. Only one area she mentions is wholly incorrect: She cautions against using the term smudging and to smudge white sage is cultural appropriation and claims white sage is endangered, but all this is incorrect. Any magickal practice can be performed by anyone as long as it is done respectfully and for its intended purposes. For example, many people practice chakra mediation, it is not reserved for east Indians. Neither is smudging with white sage. White sage is not endangered. Nor is smudge an indigenous term to only be used by indigenous people (it is an English word originally meaning to clean (cure) fish or to keep a smoking fire to keep bugs away). A small error and understandable given modern sensitivities, but Alexandre's caution is misplaced in this case.
Overall this is a fun addition to anyone interested in magick or just wants to try a few fun cocktails.

Religious rage is boring.
Revisado: 10-31-22
The author's opus is more of a tirade against religion and then a list of steps for performing satanic rituals. No real enlightening information here. The irony is the very things he says are bad about religion he embraces in satanism. Spellcasters are best served using other references for learning magick.

Too muddy of a recording.
Revisado: 11-19-19
I couldn't listen to it for more than 5 minutes because the recording was so muddy and hard to understand. It was giving me a headache. Hate that I burned a credit on this one.

A great classic.... if not a little dated.
Revisado: 07-03-19
Many of the principles Carnegie discusses are timeless. I used many to great effect recently. I'm glad to have read the book and have grown as a leader because of it. Some of the advice though is dated and not what I would consider relevant today. That's not to say Carnegie gives poor advice in those cases, but you may find yourself wanting to skip ahead a little to get past those points. There are modern leadership and sales books that are more current, yet those books were influenced by Carnegie to be sure.

More Conservative Christian stereotypes.
Revisado: 02-12-19
Yet another story capitalizing on the all too popular bashing of conservative Christians using typical anti-gay stereotypes. Thank God it was a free download.
