Historia
In the autumn of 1938, Germany's reichsführer, Heinrich Himmler, is growing frustrated at the British using their regional power in India to block the passage of an SS expedition to Tibet. Determined to spite them, he plots to steal something the British hold dear and have failed for the seventh time that spring to achieve: a first summit of Mount Everest. Seventy years later, seasoned mountain guide Neil Quinn's ninth visit to the top of the world's highest mountain, this time in charge of the 16-year-old son of a Long Island billionaire, begins to unravel.

A Great Surprise
Revisado: 06-16-18
Bought this book as a daily deal. Thought it might be interesting at some point but as many deals I buy just taking a chance on a good buy. So to my great surprise, I was hooked immediately!! A interesting story line that starts as 2 stories & converges beautifully. So many things about a subject I knew nothing about peaked my interest even more. Great story, wonderful performance!! Wish the author had more books.

Historia
Ella Keyes thought the death of her twin brother, Stuart, was the last time she'd let life surprise her. She's up for tenure at her university, she escaped a doomed engagement, and her fluffy cat knows exactly when to expect her home every day. But when her grandmother passes and leaves Ella her house, Ella discovers that the third-floor corridor of keys is more than just a family pun. The seemingly unremarkable keys don't unlock any doors in the house, but each time Ella touches one, something in her life shifts.

Great Story/ snoozer narration
Revisado: 10-11-16
Really liked the story line & characters. I listen to 3-4 books a week. Narrator was really monotone with main character. I guess on purpose ???😬 She was much easier to listen to with other characters. Sadly, most of the story was from main character point of view. I got use to it because I really wanted to hear the story.
