Why?

Nothing against Ms. Neary at all, but why did Ms. Moran not narrate this? After the last two gut-busting, laugh til I cried audiobooks with the author's unique voice, this feels like less. Which is entirely unfair of me, but there we are once expectations have been set. Will give it a go and report back on it. UPDATE: If anyone other than the author had to read this, they chose a brilliant substitute for Ms. Moran. Ms. Neary is fantastic.

That's not Neil...

Having loved the audiobooks of Ethan and Brynne, I couldn't wait to hear this one. But what I can't reconcile is that the Neil voiced ever briefly in The Blackstone books by the fabulous Shane East aka Steve West is rather brilliantly done and solidly working class whereas the Neil here in his own story sounds like a refined posh Londoner. I'm not saying the voice actor here is poor, but perhaps just poorly coached as to how Neil should sound.
