Historia
This is the worst thing you can wish on a citizen of Discworld. Especially for the magically challenged Rincewind, who has already had far too much excitement in his life. Unfortunately, the unlucky wizard always seems to end up in the middle of, well, absolutely everything. So when a request for a 'Great Wizzard' arrives from the faraway Counterweight Continent, it's obviously Rincewind who's sent. For one thing, he's the only one who spells wizard that way.

Morgan is great with character voices, except...
Revisado: 08-24-22
Colin Morgan has blown me away with his character voices. They all are truly well done, except for one. The voice for Mustrum Ridcully was so wrong. It was the most jarringly wrong voice I have listened to so far in all of these new audiobooks. It's not particularly bad, but anyone who knows and loves Ridcully will be disappointed. Come on Colin! Stephen Briggs did it right.
I am also starting to love Peter's voice for death.

Religion is a competitive business in the Discworld. Everyone has their own opinion and their own gods, of every shape and size - all fighting for faith, followers, and a place at the top.

great! but I kand of miss Stephen Briggs.
Revisado: 05-03-22
Andy Serkis was great, Bill Nighy sounded like he was reading the morning paper and mumbling to himself, and though I didn't hate Peter's death voice, I still feel the voice that Nigel and Stephen did fit the tone of the story better.

Historia
Tristran Thorn will do anything to win the cold heart of beautiful Victoria Forester - even fetch her the star they watch fall from the night sky. But to do so, he must enter the unexplored lands on the other side of the ancient wall that gives their tiny village its name. Beyond that stone barrier, Tristran learns, lies Faerie . . . and the most exhilarating adventure of the young man's life.

Thought Neil Gaiman would write a good romance.
Revisado: 12-11-18
my review might not be that helpful as most people enjoy this story but I thought it was pretty bad and even worse if your looking for a heart warming romance.(seriously, the romance part of the story is as engaging as making a hot pocket for dinner.) I like Neil Gaiman but I don't understand why this is one of his most popular stories. There is one good thing about this audio book which is Neil Gaiman's narration. he always does an amazing job. Other than that I'd just stick with watching the movie, it's much better.

Sherlock Holmes is a little boring if you ask me.
Revisado: 11-28-18
I was new to the actual story's of Sherlock Holmes and found most of them to be boring.
