Narrator: Baldree is normally a very good narrator but in this one he reads tbrough it so fast there's no time to process what little emotion the author tries to convey.
Author: Isekai litRPG is very popular and many authors are compelled to write in this genre they have no experience with nor time to properly research due to publishers shovelling out all the content they can while it's popular. So it's becoming rare to find a good one and this isn't it. Oswald uses mostly narrative and not enough conversation.

unbalanced, robotic writing

I liked the story but the writing and dialogue sounds like it was translated but never edited or localized. Game rules unbalanced and all over the place. Combat description is basic as if written for intermediate.

Cursing is a weak story shtick

Okay narration but meh story and the overuse of cursing seems juvenile. Is this targeted at an intermediate audience?

Not worth a buy

Podhel is a great voice actor as always. Story is interesting and has some original ideas for sure. The book is short and yet feels like the author padded it with too much internal dialogue, restating the same things in a different way to reach the minimum word count for the novel. I hope you can write a full novel next time without padding since you have talent.

Good but Author! Stop CAPITALIZING class NAMES!

Good story, great voice actor. It's a bit darker than the title would suggest but well written with good character interaction dialogue.
The narrator slightly pauses to emphasize every class name every time as they must be capitalized in print . I don't know if I'll get any more titles from this author but I will from the narrator.

Good but for one thing

Good story, great voice actor, Author PLEASE stop CAPITALIZING class NAMES it IS annoying. When I'm immersed in the story and the narrator emphasizes the class names it is so jarring it pulls me out of the story and I think "why does the author capitalize all class names?" I would find that annoying to read and much worse listening to an audiobook.

Not very good

Main character is dumb despite everyone saying how smart he is. The wtiting is amateurish. Main character constantly states and restates the very very obvious.

Pairs delightfully with the first book.

The clarity with which McClain paints the scenes kept me so immersed I missed several exits on the turnpike but it was okay since I had more time to enjoy the story.

Just buy it. This series is both the author's and the Narrator's best work. If you're new to the series read the first 2 books first m'kay?
