This is a very original concept and yet still very much a fantasy novel. Entertaining, fast paced, and action packed. Well worth your time.

Pure excellence!!
Revisado: 09-29-24
This was an excellent storyline and so well performed by the narrator. It was fast paced, and never got bogged down and useless details. My only wish for this is that it had more books to the series to continue the excellent story that has already been told.

Fast paced and action packed.
Revisado: 09-02-24
This is an excellent written and fantastically performed novel that focuses more on swordplay than magical abilities. The storyline has much action and does not focus a lot on any sort of distracting love stories. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in fantasy nobles.

Quick ending to an otherwise good storyline
Revisado: 04-02-24
In books one and two, there was a lot of buildup and character development. In this third book, the end of the trilogy, there is a lot of detail and time poured into very small progress in the storyline. A lot of detail, and time that went into describing treks in the forest or in the mountains, but not really in development of the primary characters. Then, in the last one 10th of the book, everything is switched, and the book suddenly comes to an end. I wish more time was spent in the build up to the conclusion, then just in the details of meaningless progress through the story. It was a little bit of a letdown from books one and two.

Fantastic story, but cut short without a sequel to follow up on
Revisado: 12-31-23
This was a fantastic story, and had a good pace. It was exciting with twist and terms to keep you wanting to listen. The worst part was the knowledge that this book did not have any sequels to follow.

Historia
The man who became known as Esrahaddon is reported to have destroyed the world’s greatest empire—but there are those who believe he saved it. Few individuals are as divisive, but all agree on three facts: He was exiled to the wilderness, hunted by a goblin priestess, and sentenced to death by a god—all before the age of eight. How he managed to survive and why people continued to fear his name a thousand years later has always been a mystery...until now.

Fantastic story and end to the series.
Revisado: 10-01-23
I am very sad to know that this is the final book in this fantasy world that I can read. I have read all 20 books and the ark of the entire storyline from Myths and Legends clear through the Riyria Revelations has been fantastic and one that I will likely work through again. I hope that Michael Sullivan and Tim Gerard Reynolds are working together on another book, or even better, a whole new storyline, that I can immerse myself into.

Historia
In Age of Myth, fantasy master Michael J. Sullivan launched audiences on an epic journey of magic and adventure, heroism and betrayal, love and loss. Now the thrilling saga continues as the human uprising is threatened by powerful enemies from without—and bitter rivalries from within. Raithe, the God Killer, may have started the rebellion by killing a Fhrey, but long-standing enmities dividing the Rhunes make it all but impossible to unite against the common foe. And even if the clans can join forces, how will they defeat an enemy whose magical prowess renders them indistinguishable from gods?
