Didn't like the coarse language that added nothing to the essays I listened to and was a turn off for me personally. Too little time to listen or read something that I believed started out so poorly. A waste of my Audible credit for the month.

This audiobook is has been the best, most engaging audiobook I have listened to. The fear of God has taken newer and deeper importance for my life and will bring a dramatic shift in our lives and future if we pay attention and put into practice the clearly revealed Word as revealed in John Bevere's book and the Holy Spirit speKing through him.

The Midnight Library is my first novel read for 2022. Following Nora's journey through her near death experience after attempting to end her life, is an illuminating, frustrating, yet fantastically realized window into what living is all about. I will be surprised if this this is not not only my favorite read of the year, but also on my lifetime top 10 list. Anyone who is caught up in depression, life quandaries, or regrets would do well to listen to this book on audio if you lack the energy to read a novel length book. Matt Haig, is building a new and better
library starting with this book.

E.B. White's letters that mention dogs

These letters, as read by their author were a very different experience from reading E B. White's children's books. The writer's dogs were often minor mentions in the letter being read and the focus of the letter was an account or opinion regarding totally different theme. The writings show the author's narrative prowess and his intelligence and dry wit, a sardonic humor and affinity for a constant canine companion. Some dogs seemed to be brief asides while a few are much more enduring. It was more memoir than dog stories. I might have enjoyed the book more if I read it, rather than listened to the recorded book.
