Historia
Lawrence Karrier is the first to see the beauty while out on his morning run. A solitary thin cloud drifting down from the mountains and settling into the lake, like nothing he has ever seen before. Later in the day as the local factory empties and the bar fills up, the spectacle of a hundred such clouds against the evening sky beguiles the whole town. That is until someone is unfortunate enough to touch one.

repetitive story plot
Revisado: 06-05-22
I did not finish listening to this story because I was bored with the repetitions of the story line. I have read many books by this author and this is the only one I did not as a 5-star story. The narration was good.

Creepy great story
Revisado: 03-14-21
I loved this super creepy story. The story played like a movie in my mind as I listened to the narrator's voice and imagined the scenes and details the author described through well written words.

Wonderful narrator
Revisado: 03-07-21
Both the story and audio narrator were top-notch. The story was interesting, creepy, and suspenseful all at the same time. The narrator's voice and inflections were both simple and demonstrative at the same time. The ending of the story was enlightening and wrapped up the tale quite nicely.
Thank you to the author for allowing me a copy to listen to so I could choose to write a review of my own honest opinions.

Historia
In the height of the Second World War, US forces launched a long and grueling campaign to take the island of Guadalcanal, mounting the first major land attack against Japanese forces. What followed was a six-month string of devastating battles as these two forces wrestled over this key military position. In the wake of near-daily aerial attacks and several determined assaults from the Japanese navy, the Guadalcanal campaign culminated in a victory for America and marked the first of many offensive attacks aimed at neutralizing the Japanese in the Pacific Theater.

history
Revisado: 01-01-21
The narrative was engaging and historically accurate. Told in chronological order as the battles progressed, it was interesting to review the history i had learned years ago in school. The narrator's voice is pleasant but at times his delivery is a bit out of sync. Overall this was an enjoyable audio book.
