Vivid detail of indigenous people and events in Central America.

I liked : The continuity of the story, the ease of how the stories flowed from one to the next. The vivid and detail of the descriptors of the people and events.
I didn’t like: The predictability of the fantastic coincidences of the stories in the second half of the book but I did appreciate the warm but unreal ending.

A vivid description of a life experience I wound never attempt. The thorough discussion of the preparation processes was most interesting as well as finding out how necessary those preparations were needed. But not everything was planned for and the mother of invention is need as evidenced with her pee bottle.
