Historia
Diana Gabaldon's fans will be delighted to find Jamie and Claire as spirited and endearing as ever in this fourth installment of this magnificent saga. Twice Claire has used an ancient stone circle to travel back to the 18th century. The first time she found love with a Scottish warrior but had to return to the 1940s to save their unborn child. The second time she reunited with her lost love but had to leave behind the daughter that he would never see. Now Brianna, from her 1960s vantage point, has found a disturbing obituary and will risk everything in an attempt to change history.

Where does Drums of Autumn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Drums of Autumn, along with the other books in the Outlander series, is one of my favorite books to get lost in. Davina Porter's performance is outstanding.
What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Davina Porter's wonderful Scottish accent, as well as her English and American accents, makes the book come alive.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would love to be able to listen to the entire book in one sitting but since it is approximately 8 hours long that would nearly impossible barring a long airplane trip .
