Revisado: 12-24-23
Another fun ride. I can't wait to see what they comes next now that Horizon is a full strength. The only thing that would have made it better is to have some Black Flame in the bloopers.

I was lucky to find this series of books after it was complete. I rarely buy all the books back to back but once I started I couldn't stop until the end. it was a wonderful story, well told.

An outstanding story!
Revisado: 11-15-23
There have been many times who I've read a story of young Heroes learning and coming into their own. Likewise there have been many times where a quit a series after book 1 because the author tries to create conflict where it need not be there, or add Darkness in the midst of trying to show light. This tale is a wonderful journey. There were times I laughed at the nearly :Guardians of the Galaxy" camaraderie and humor. The battles were entertaining and thought out. The plot well connected. I could not wait to get to the next book as I read through the series from beginning to end.

Another great story installment
Revisado: 04-21-23
I've been looking forward to the this book since I finished book 8. I continue to enjoy the characters, their interactions and of course the TV/movie references. The universe building is complex without being overwhelming, and the plot is kept engaging. The Narrator also make the story come alive. I no longer notice the stare I get from spontaneously laughing out loud. I was sorry for this book to end, but looking forward to the next one.

Fantastic stories!
Revisado: 05-29-22
I've just finished my second sojourn through these books. It was like returning to a favorite restaurant: familiar, welcoming, and satisfying. The world created around Captain Ishmael Wong was grounded enough to be comfortable and exotic enough to keep me turning pages. The perspective of a future in space without huge space battles and a super baddies bent on galactic domination was unique and compelling. I could see myself living in this world of everyday life. Especially with the coffee, bacon, and Frank's Finest. If you are looking for something different but still a fun ride, I hight recommend the series. Well done.

This is one of the most enjoyable series I've listened to. Great narration, and cohesive building story, super powers, 80s pop culture, and humor that made me laugh out loud a lot. It does leave you thinking, "Who thought Team Knight Rider was a good idea?"

What a wild well crafted ride. Lots of twists and turn that all came together. It reminded me of the book Pandora' Star. The only thing I need now is a copy of the Cynics Book of Wisdom!
