Historia
No one expected Ragnarok. The miles-wide meteor fell from the sky in 2030, taking most of humanity with it. The lucky ones took refuge in the Bunkers. The unlucky ones had to deal with the meteor's aftermath...and the alien virus it unleashed. Now, that virus is evolving, creating an army of mutants and monsters, mixing Earth genetics with something...not Earth. As humanity struggles in the wastelands of what's left, it might already be too late...unless a band of young heroes can rise up, and fight.

Historia
A guide to the American legal system, told through the story of two actual court cases. The Steps to the Supreme Court takes a lively, narrative approach to the subject by following two real cases - one civil, one criminal - as they work their way through the system, all the way up to the Supreme Court. Written by a member of the Supreme Court bar, this book brings the legal system to life in a practical, accessible, and compelling way.

good technical review of supreme Court cases

although I enjoyed listening to this book and I believe it was presented quite well. there was clearly some bias as a author which is to be expected and unfortunately is common in the practice of law. we all do have our opinions but as lawyers we say what we think the law is and the judges decide what the law is in that this was quite an interesting and eye-opening book.

Historia
Boarding a transport ship after the Battle of Gettysburg, Colonel Andrew Keane and his 35th Maine regiment are swept into an alternate world. The first human civilization they encounter on this planet resembles medieval Russia, with boyars and priests ruling over the peasants and townspeople. Soon Keane and his regiment learn this world's terrible secret: that cannibalistic hordes of large, fierce Tugars circle the planet and demand tribute - including humans to be devoured.

Historia
Few Americans know that the Revolutionary War did not begin with the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, but over a year earlier, in April 1775. Now historian Derek Beck draws on previously unpublished documents to tell the full story of the war before American independence - from both sides. Spanning the years 1773 to 1776, this audiobook sweeps listeners from the Boston Tea Party to the halls of Parliament - where Ben Franklin was almost run out of England for pleading on behalf of the colonies.

Historia
When we look back on our nation's history, the American Revolution can feel almost like a foregone conclusion. In reality, the first weeks of the war were much more tenuous, and a fractured and ragtag group of colonial militias had to coalesce to have even the slimmest chance of toppling the mighty British Army. American Spring follows a fledgling nation from Paul Revere's little-known ride of December 1774 and the first shots fired on Lexington Green through the catastrophic Battle of Bunker Hill.

Revisado: 05-23-16
This book was very thoroughly researched with innumerable references to the personal and official letters of our first President. I whole heartedly believe that this book should be read or listened to by every American. Many concerns raised by President Washington when the country was being founded are still major issues to this very day, especially politicians placing themselves and their parties before the Good of the Citizenry and the Country!
