I actually fell asleep multiple times during this book. The author goes into these long winded techno babble about cultivation and the MC cores and skills. Almost like they are rolling a dice to determine which words to put together over and over again. Leaves the story slow and lacking.

Why even Name it "The Wind Runner"

Ryoka was in it for maybe an hour at the beginning and then nothing. It's like the author is trying to start another book. Finish with the main characters already, I was very disappointed in the story this time around. As always Andrea Parsneau was fantastic.

20 hours with 2 hours of substance

I found myself zoning out repeatedly while listening. Heath Miller did a good job there just wasn't much substance. The author should bundle these up as a 3 packs.

I loved the previous series of NEO, but I really struggled through this one. Luke Daniels was awesome as usual, but he alone couldn't keep my interest. There just wasn't a lot of substance for 3/4 of the book; although, it picked up at the end. It is an interesting premise (think the Zerg from Starcraft), but I found myself not caring about the characters or frankly what happened to them. Not likely to continue with 2nd book.

Enjoyable, builds upon previous books, and provides a much needed background on several characters, but It literally became the story? Andrea Parsneau does a wonderful job narrating as alway, and let me say that pirateaba is learning. The emotional outpouring for Erin and the like is still there, but she limits them now to just a few minutes rather than a quarter hour or more, and she still get's her point across with some very poignant moments. I really do enjoy the characters, and we learn more of Erin's power, and her ability to move people. Maybe a little less detail on some of the tangents, and maybe a little more actions. Would recommend.

Fun but Done.

Glad I listed, but also glad to be done with the series, as it was a little tedious for the last couple of books. Tess Irondale is exceptional, and does a great job with all the characters, despite some of the cliche dialog. "Hey Brighteyes". Overall 3 Stars is where it belongs.

Get into this Satire Series - You Won't regret it.

I usually don't write reviews, and I have burned a lot of credits on (mediocre at best) LitRPG and Fantasy books, but this definitely is deserving. Don't expect twists and turns, but a fun story, humorous (and accurate) satire on our current state of affairs, and wonderful characters. Seriously, It doesn't get much better than Gorm Ingerson and his party, both past and present. Mr. Tisdale also has to be ranked among the top in his profession, as his wide array of voices make this engaging story that much easier to follow by creating such distinction among each character. Spend a Credit on this series, you won't regret it. I look forward to the third installment.

Listened again, and it was just as good it not better than the first - you get to pick up on the nuances and Satire more with the second go. Gorm is one of my all time favorite characters, rugged, a leader by action, caring, funny, flawed, but never annoying or stupid, Great entertainment.
