Young Ragnar Continued
Revisado: 08-10-24
I enjoy listening to the story about young Ragnar. The commoradery between his groups of friends/battle brothers. I cannot help but see the glaring discrepancies of the protagonist shield and how he seems to be listened to no matter how much more senior other Space Wolves are. But, it is still enjoyable.

The Death Korps of Krieg are deployed to a soul-crushing siege in the Octarius War Zone. They’re the right regiment for the job, though victory might come at a price that some might balk to pay.

Origins of the Grimdark Trench Fighters
Revisado: 04-10-24
Honestly this reading was phenomenal! *excited gas mask breathing* I love the Death Korps of Krieg in 40k tabletop, and hearing their origin makes it even more awe inspiring. Colonel Jurten did what no one else thought was possible, and what no one else was willing. My only complaint is how the narrator kept pronouncing "Korpsman" with the hard "p", but otherwise I love this book.

I am not alone
Revisado: 06-03-23
Great book overall! Still leaves a few questions lingering, which leaves enough to build upon in the future. Lionel is skewed from his Great Crusade days, though not in a bad way and definitely understandable with the passage of time. I look forward to the reunification of him and his sons (and the greater Imperium as a whole).

The beginning saga of Ragnar Blackmane, what else needs to be said?! I enjoyed hearing about all of the niche intricacies of what aspirants go through to become Astartes. I cannot wait for the next blackmane audiobook to be released!

Reclusiarch...
Revisado: 03-27-23
I have never really enjoyed Black Templars lore wise. However, this book is one of the best 40k novels in existence, in my honest opinion. Painting pictures of; differences between Astartes Chapters, differences of not just the physical but mental aspects of Astartes and humans, and the tumultuous relationships between Imperial factions such as the Mechanicus. Wonderfully written and phenomenally orated.

When Magnus the Red is tracked down to Gangava Prime, the Space Wolves hasten to engage the daemon primarch. Even as Great Wolf Harek Ironhelm closes on his ancient enemy, the Fang, a fortress on the Space Wolves home world, is besieged by a massive force of Thousand Sons. A desperate battle ensues as the skeleton forces of Wolf Lord Vaer Greylock attempt to hold back the attacking hosts before the last of his meagre defences gives in.

A story of Exiled Space Wizards
Revisado: 07-26-22
I loved the book. Some people take issue with it being "boring" but it was a slow burn of excitement for me. There is a lot of back and forth stories going on at the same time which works well. Keep in mind that this book is about Ahriman...the strongest psyker of the Thousand Sons, and not some khornate berserker. This means he is playing chess in his stories, so don't expect Red Dead Revolver type action.
The narrator was awesome as usual, I love his voices and cadence.

I wanted to read this for the simple aspect of Guilliman's return. It seemed trivial at first...but man did it pick up. It's worth the slow cooking.
