Entertaining Novel with an Excellent Narrator

The paranormal romance story line was so enjoyable and didn't disappoint. But what really impressed me was the narrator, Connor Brown. His voice was exceptional and believable for both male and female characters. I will definitely be looking for his name when I choose future audiobooks.

Goodness, I So Needed This!

What beautiful gifts this author and this narrator are to their many devotees. I am certainly one. If you're new to J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood, welcome! I suggest starting with Darius or Dark Lover and journey through until you reach Bloom in Winter. If you've made the BDB trip through over 20 exciting novels, you will certainly adore Bloom in Winter. It connects the wolven and vampire worlds and gives the readers two couples to follow and enjoy. It is also a joy to listen to the ever talented Jim Frangione. It is a treat that Audible releases his version on the same release day as the Kindle version. When it comes to the Black Dagger Brotherhood, I must have both versions! In this time, when so many of us could really use an exciting and lovely escape, the autumn release of Bloom in Winter truly warms the heart. Thanks you to J. R. Ward and Jim Frangione. I really needed this! Sigh...

This is the One

Most of this series is filled with entertaining characters who survive interesting conflicts but the endings are weak; however, Preacher proves that Dahlia West has more talent than she has previously shown her readers. I'm usually disappointed with her novels's conclusions.They seem so choppy and short, as if the writer is in a hurry to be done with them. Not Preacher. Preacher shows what Dahlia West can really do. Her characters are fully developed, being both entertaining and fascinating. I especially appreciated the satisfying conclusion, nothing choppy about this one! Even if you're iffy about going forward with Dahlia's novels, please don't miss this one. With Preacher, Dahlia West gets it beautifully right.

Aiden Snow. That's all you need to know. Aiden's Snow's gorgeous voice resonates throughout this novel. He makes the alpha male character who leaves you covered in goose bumps. This voice actor is so very talented.

Suzanne Wright at Her Sizzling Best

Yes, it's basically mild erotica, but Suzanne never sacrifices her characterization for the sex scenes. As with her popular shifter series, Suzanne creates a world with endearing, strong characters who work through the problems of their lives as they find each other. Suzanne Wright never fails to entertain!

Clara and Henry Together at Last

Juliette Cross's Grim and Bear It in Audible is truly delightful. Aiden Snow is brilliant bringing Henry to life, as he comes out of his fear and accepts that Clara is destined for him. If you haven't delved into this series, do yourself a favor and start now. You won't regret it.

Wow, Just Wow

J. R. Ward and the indispensable Jim Frangione are back to give you the reading and listening experience you've been waiting for. Finally, we have Lassiter's story. You will be angry, frustrated, intrigued, saddened, relieved, and thrilled. It ends with a huge emotional bang that makes this emotional roller coaster ride so worth it. Thank you, Ms. Ward and Mr. Frangione for giving life to our beloved BDB characters and providing such joy for your followers. I needed this book.

Ward Always Keeps Me Enthralled

While the Black Dagger Brotherhood fandom, excitedly wait for Lassiter's story, we are gifted the second Wolven novel. It continues with Lydia and Daniel, and Xhex plays an important role. We even cross over to the Brotherhood mansion and revisit several of the beloved characters. When I finished Claimed, I wasn't sure how I felt about this story line, but Forever pulled me in deeper. I am definitely following this one!

Suzanne and Cat do it Again

I love owning the Audible versions, along with the Kindle versions, so I really appreciate it when my fav authors release their versions simultaneously. (This is rare.) I am a huge fan of Suzanne's shifter world, and I've become an equal fan of Cat's interpretation of that world. While this new journey into witches and immortals doesn't trump my adoration of Suzanne's shifters, it is thoroughly entertaining and intriguing. I look forward to continuing the journey, and as always, anxiously await the next shifter novel. Thank you for your talents, Suzanne and Cat.
