What did you love best about Outrage at Blanco?

The action and violence was very gritty but it was needed to accomplish what the author was trying to convey.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This was not a nail biter, but definitely a good listen.

What about John Burlinson’s performance did you like?

Mr. Burlinson was spot on with the character narration. I could not imagine anyone better to read a western novel.

Any additional comments?

This is the first time I read a book from Mr. Crider and this won't be my last. I really enjoyed how gritty the story is and the motivation of each character was given. A very well written story.

Would you listen to That Ghoul Ava Kicks Some Fairy A** again? Why?

Yes, I actually went back an listened again because there is a lot of things happening right from the beginning.

What other book might you compare That Ghoul Ava Kicks Some Fairy A** to and why?

Hard to say, Ava is in a league of her own. If you are into supernatural stories.. this series will be very enjoyable.

What about Pamela Lorence’s performance did you like?

Pamela Lorence voice of Ava.. it is the best. I can't imagine anyone else doing Ava's voice.

If you could take any character from That Ghoul Ava Kicks Some Fairy A** out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would have to take out Ava. There is so many things that is happening when she's around that dinner would be very interesting.

What made the experience of listening to 500 Really Useful English Phrases the most enjoyable?

The narrator did a wonderful job and it made it really run to listen to.

What other book might you compare 500 Really Useful English Phrases to and why?

This is a self help book but with lots of good narrations now it maybe a little basic for some but I like the examples that are given. I even shared this with my wife who just recently immigrated to the US and really loves how this audiobook because it gives her a better understanding of how the phrases works.

What about Jus Sargeant’s performance did you like?

Loved the accent, it definitely made the narration better.

Interesting take on divinity.

What made the experience of listening to Polly! the most enjoyable?

I do like the way Goldin laid out who God is. It is definitely the highlight of the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Polly. Not much to be said without giving the story away but definitely interesting.

What does Joe Hempel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joe definitely brought the story to life.

Any additional comments?

The story was interesting and it would have been better in my opinion if God did not have the urges like us human. I am not saying it's wrong but the way God was described in the book it would seem God would not need to have human urges. It would have been better if Fifi was the naughty mistress that took care of all desires.

Not easy to listen to..

What would have made The Blue Alien's Mate better?

Maybe the story could be written in 3rd person. The transition between the two main character was not clear at time and it made it hard to follow the story. At best this had a lot of potential but the dialogue and 1st person view just take away from the story.

What could Zara Zenia have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

the first person view definitely is very distracting

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I think the story would have been better if the narrator was a female. At time I could not tell who was telling the story.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment, the story had a lot of potential. I really like the premise of the story.

I really thought this might be a fun book to listen to but at time I struggle to follow the story not knowing who point of view is the story about.

If you could sum up Born a Crime in three words, what would they be?

Best Christmas present!! Got this as a gift but would have gladly paid for this.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Born a Crime?

The way Trevor tells his story, he was not trying to get sympathy, he was just telling it like it is.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I am re-listening to it again. With so much that was going on I wanted to go back and make sure I got everything.

Any additional comments?

I am so surprise that this was given a away as a Christmas present. I was planning to pick it up and was ecstatic that this was free. One of my most favorite thing about the story is Trevor narrated the story. So it made the audible version even better. I hope he writes more and the next one I would not hesitate to buy it.

Great start for a zombie apocalypse!

Would you listen to DEAD: The Ugly Beginning again? Why?

Yes, I am sure there are things I missed the first time I read it.

What did you like best about this story?

How the author describe what it's like when a zombie apocalypse does happens.

Which character – as performed by Andrew McFerrin – was your favorite?

Andrew does a superb job with the narration the story and creating different characters. My favorite has to be Travis.

Any additional comments?

The only reason why I did not give this story a 5 star rating was because of the number of characters that was introduce it was hard to care for them. But I think if I did not read Dead: Snapshot: Portland, Oregon first I actually would have enjoyed it more. Dead Snapshot series are more enjoyable because you can identify some of the landmark that was being describe. Good start for a zombie series.

Good book but...

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend reading the book, but will shy away from recommending the audible version. The narrator was so nasally that it was so distracting. Especially when the main character was a female, the nasally narration just kills any imagination for her.

What other book might you compare Love in the Time of Zombies to and why?

The closes book that comes to mind would be Z-Burbia, but that is not a fair comparison because the narration and the story fit perfectly in Z-Burbia.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

One word, nasally.

Did Love in the Time of Zombies inspire you to do anything?

No, the story was good enough for me to finish, would have been better if the narrator was a female.

This was such a mix bag of feelings for me. I enjoy all zombies genre especially the one that is not conventional. For instance, Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion, love that book and thought the movie was well done. I was hoping this was one of those book, it came close but the narrator really detracted my attention from enjoying the book.

A very good start..

What made the experience of listening to Cosega Search the most enjoyable?

The narrator Danny Campbell did a great job in keeping the story going. Story itself was very slow to start but once it get going it was very good.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cosega Search?

I don't think one moment stands out but the story does have a lot of promise. With an ancient secret involving the Catholic church, an alien race that existed before humanity and a conspiracy at the very top of US government.

What about Danny Campbell’s performance did you like?

Well narrated and he was able to give every character their own voice. Like I mentioned before, the story start slow and Mr. Campbell kept me from turning the story off.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, once the story picked up the story was very fast pace.

Any additional comments?

This would have easily been a 5 star overall but because of how the story was so abruptly ended that it left me wondering if I missed something. I went back and listened to the last 10 minute of the story again and nope didn't miss anything, it's just a HUGE cliff hanger.

Yes, the narrator does a very good job bringing all the character to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wormwood Dawn, Episode III?

Realization that there is even a scarier monster among them.

What about Clifford Edwards’s performance did you like?

It does feel like Clifford is getting into the groove with the characters and it resonate in Chapter 3. The story and performance is definitely picking up.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I wanted to know what lies around the corner and now with the new monster among them it is even more crazy then before.

Any additional comments?

Chapter 3 ends with a big cliff hanger and it definitely a good one. Can't wait for the next chapter.
