Historia
Shannon Sanders’s sparkling debut brings us into the company of the Collins family and their acquaintances as they meet, bicker, compete, celebrate, worry, keep and reveal secrets, build lives and careers, and endure. Moving from Atlantic City to New York to DC, from the 1960s to the 2000s, from law students to drag performers to violinists to matriarchs, Company tells a multifaceted, multigenerational saga in thirteen stories.

Fabulous short stories
Revisado: 11-14-23
It was so exciting to read short stories that are connected. This was a new concept for me. I especially enjoyed how each story had a surprise character or point. I’m excited to continue reading works by Shannon Sanders.

Historia
National leader Stacey Abrams has written the guide to harnessing the strengths of being an outsider and succeeding anyway. Leadership is hard. Convincing others - and yourself - that you are capable of taking charge and achieving more requires insight and courage. Lead from the Outside is the handbook for outsiders, written with an eye toward the challenges that hinder women, people of color, the working class, members of the LGBTQ community, and millennials ready to make change.

perfect leadership book
Revisado: 10-03-19
this is not your traditional leadership book but is perfect for everyone regardless to where you are on the development scale. I would highly recommend it for those young people graduating from both high school and college. I would also recommend it for the professional trying to move ahead. there are so many takeaways in this book.
