The story is very interesting to me, however I am having a hard time getting the setting pictured in my head, unlike other sci-fi I’ve listened to. Not enough descriptive paragraphs I think.

Not for me, I don’t think. Juvenile in nature. I was half way through but didn’t finish. The performers seemed to overact, but probably just the style they were going for.
Production quality is high, however. The performers spoke well, and the sound effects were plenty. The background ambient sounds helped formed images in your mind and completed the illusion.
It was like a play in a theatre with all of the lights turned off.

What about Craig Wasson’s performance did you like?
He was energetic and dramatic all the way through! He never overacted. He was so good, I forgot what he sounded like and listened to what he was saying: a sign of a great reader.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I could not put this one down, so to speak. Stephen King got me hooked after the first 5 minutes of listening. There is so much about this story that is fantastic, twisted at times, and suspensful. He seamlessly sticthed in a love story too, which is a tear jerker. A word of warning, however, as this book does contaiin strong language throughout and some sex scenes described in some detail, almost uncomfortably.

The sound went soft and loud at points and the quality of it changed trhoughout. Also, I wish that a British person could have read this.
