It was very well told, and had a nice twist with the Romeo meets Juliet scenario, that was kind of unexpected. Overall a good read!

Single best book I have listened to in a long time. It keep me guessing the whole time I ever drug out. Out standing performance by the narrator. I would have no one else narrate this book.

The only qualm I have about this book is that Lucy’s Voice is so annoying it almost made me stop listening to the book. But after a while spoiler alert she dies.

This is an amazing book read as a first hand account storyline but the narrator smacks while she reads and inhales and exhales deeply through the narration it can get kind of annoying sometimes.

This book is INCREDIBLE. And that’s putting it mildly. The writing is perfectly immersive; you feel every sentence written. And the narrator interprets that beautifully! Its message is powerful and so very relatable to today’s world. As a society we only seek entertainment, not connection and meaning. This will convict you, move you, teach you, and inspire you. One of the best books I’ve ever read, hands down.

The story line didn’t seem to really have a point. The narrator’s voice and accent are great, but he doesn’t differentiate between characters in his voice. There’s also no undulation in his voice. The book will change between character points of views with no way to differentiate between who it is.

Intriguing story. Disturbed man!

The performance of the reader is fantastic I love his voice and the way he holds your attention. It is terribly sickening to know what can be devised in the mind of man, in the amount of careless disregard of human Life. It blows me away how much Holmes was able to push his conscience completely out of his mind and still to the very end never regretting anything!

A Classic

This book is by far one of my favorites. Stephen Fry could not have narrated it more perfectly! Every character comes to life and has a distinct voice. You forget that just one person is narrating! I've listened to it 2 and 1/2 times over, and I'll listen to it again before too long!
