Historia
After surviving nearly a decade of heroin abuse and hard living on the streets of San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, Tracey Helton Mitchell decided to get clean for good. With raw honesty and a poignant perspective on life that only comes from starting at rock bottom, The Big Fix tells her story of transformation from homeless heroin addict to stable mother of three - and the hard work and hard lessons that got her there. Rather than dwelling on the pain of addiction, Tracey focuses on her journey of recovery and rebuilding her life.

Tracey Helton is A HUGE inspiration to any folks that have struggled with any addiction. Her generosity goes beyond this book, she is available to all who contact her, and this book is definitely a must for anyone touched by addiction. It will give you HOPE in such a hopeless epidemic. I love her, and love this book!

Great Story, Don't recommend the Narrator However
Revisado: 09-21-16
How could the performance have been better?
The narrator is so over the top, it's like she's reading to children... she lowers her voice when reading quotes from men... raises her voice when talking about kids.... makes me sick! Unfortunately I can't finish the book bc of it! :(
