“Laney, there’s no way that being your friend would ever be enough for me.”

Review Title & Vibes:
{NOT GONNA LIE} I freaking loved this book. It’s been on my TBR for entirely too long! Coming to audio allowed me to bump this to the top!

Grant and Laney have chemistry from the get-go. Laney’s unexpected arrival into Fiasco, Kentucky allowed her to shed old habits and insecurities - her remade self is confident and unafraid to clap back at the surly youngest Foxx brother. Grant’s dormant dreams regrettably flare to life at his first meeting with Laney. He struggles with so much guilt, but it’s self-imposed. When he finally ditches those shackles - he’s absolutely perfect.

Things I Loved:
-I couldn’t get enough of Laney’s “call it like it is” attitude (she refused to cower), knows how to have a good time, and molds perfectly into small town bourbon life.
-Grant comes to life, shows the perfect amount of possessive alpha-male swagger, and knows how to grand gesture!
-Hadley is the best instant bestie - brash boss babe that I’m hoping catches herself a Foxx.
-Ace & Lincoln’s (brothers) stories will no doubt have me feral
-Griz Foxx- I love a wise old player!
-There was just enough romantic suspense to keep the plot going & the villain creepy!
-Justice & HEA - check mark ✔️

Audio Notes:
{DUET} Yes please to more Connor & Samantha performances! Connor crafted a perfect Grant - a little guilty, a bit tortured, but completely swoony. Samantha’s Laney was a delight - sassy, confident, and clever! I would highly recommend this audiobook.

“And when you find someone who gets you, someone you connect with, you realize what a rarity it is, and you hold on tight."

Review Title & Vibes:
{Takes the Gold} Give me all this forced proximity goodness. Lulu “Wild Cat” Sonnet and Rafe Chadwick’s meet cute disaster and continual run-ins had me cackling. I can’t get enough of their banter, the (reluctant) chemistry, the sibling ribbing, and bestie bonds. This small town romance gives all the best vibes - no one does small town like Laura!

What I loved:
-When the fake dating isn’t fake
-Lulu’s perfect way of staking her claim but in a total classy way (girl code is not a joke) and her constant belief in Rafe’s professional prowess.
-Rafe’s possessive but not overbearing (the way this man lets Lulu fight her own battles while supporting her - GREEN FLAG!!)
-Beef Cake is still my fave (this kid has game and wisdom)

My Blurb:
Lulu Sonnet is in Rosewood River to get away from the drama and spotlight that follows her ex like a bad case of BO. Rafe is using the guest house while his property is renovated, and is reluctantly drawn to the gorgeous socialite across the way. Small white lies push them into fake dating that quickly turns real, but the inevitable expiration date is non-negotiable. Will true love bridge the ocean between them?

Audio Notes:
{DUET} Vanessa and Sean were so great! I loved the duet style - it was seamless and wonderful! This performance had me laughing, cringing, furious, and swoony. The third act was agony! I would highly recommend this audiobook.

Review Title & Vibes:
{COMING HOME} to this book made my day. Caleb “C-Bomb” is the perfect reformed playboy rockstar turned protective daddy. I seriously could not get enough of the many ways he stepped up and showed off his savior complex. Aubrey is his perfect match, tender without being a pushover, wild but responsible. Raine, is his precious daughter - whose guardianship is in danger. There is a true undeniable villain in this story. There is character growth, excellent spice, swoony declarations, and fantastic side characters. The HEA wrapped everything in a bow. Now to catch up on Lauren’s backlog.

Audio Notes:
{DUET} Andi and Sean are freaking spectacular! The spice, barbed banter, swoony parenting moments - all of it hit through this performance. I loved Sean’s growly rockstar attitude for Caleb, and Andi’s no-nonsense but I’m hot for rockstar voice. I would highly recommend this audiobook.

“We had to be reminded what love is to love each other.”

“Uncle Daddy” Ryland takes the stage. Growly, grumpy, scarred Ryland Rowley finally gets his world turned upside down by Gabby Brinkley - gorgeous and feisty assistant coach/neighbor.

I love their dynamic, insatiable attraction, shared traumas, fierce loyalty and love of family. The spice was hot hot hot. I laughed so hard - the men ribbing Ryland about his idiotic refusal to admit his feelings, Aubrey and Hattie meddling, Bower’s love of smutty romance books and enthusiastic encouragement to have Gabby ditch the “friends WITHOUT benefits.”

The plot centered around Ryland and Gabby’s character growth and the bond they share with each other. And Mac - that sweet four year old has my heart with her love of horse stuffies. The HEA was unexpected and powerfully sweet. And the freaking epilogue had me in tears.

I hope MQ has a brand new spin off in store for Bower and a certain baseball player!

Audio Notes:
Excellent duet narration from Sebastian and Samantha. I was drawn in the entire time. Sebastian’s grumpy, growly voice was perfect for Ryland. Samantha voiced Gabby expertly with sass and smarts. From the spice to the banter to the vulnerable and emotional scenes - all of it was performed so well. I tightly recommend this audiobook.

Vibes:
Freaking LOVED and LAUGHED through this entire book. MQ’s bringing the spicy magic of Christmas to life early this year!

Storee Book Taylor is hilarious, an outgoing sunshiny homebody / Lovemark Movie editor. Cole Black is the orphaned recluse reindeer caretaker / town golden boy when he ventures out. Their goal - win the town Christmas Kringle Award… at all costs. I adored the depth of character and backstories for both MCs. The crazy antics of small town living are always a highlight. You get all the found family (and true family) representation, the fake dating shenanigans that turns real will melt and swoon. The spice was epic . The competition was intense. And the HEA is one you don’t want to miss.
~
Audio Notes:
I love full cast audiobooks! And even better the narrator and MCs break the 3rd wall and interact with each other! It’s such a fun audiobook that gives all the funny Christmas vibes. I HIGHLY recommend this audiobook!

✋🏼Audio Notes:
Narrated in duet by Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke. Wonderful performance by both narrators. I love the timing and sass in all playful banter. There was some confusion in a few scenes as to which character was speaking. I would highly recommend this audiobook.

✌🏼Vibes:
Banter and best friends. Hardy and Everly are absolutely adorable. The playful way their friendship grows into secret mutual pining is the absolute sweetest. MQ has me rolling (as usual). JP Kane made a spectacular cameo with his feathered-friends-fetish. I’m here for all the match-making and meddling. Brody’s “help” was one of the funniest moments.

This was a slowwwww burn to flaming hot. When the heat turns up, the spice was spectacular.

That third act drama had me heartbroken - a tough situation compounded by a poor reaction made for a huge mess. Intense attraction makes “certain characters”absolute dummies. Thankfully our side characters help bridge the gap to get us to the HEA.

Can’t wait to see more of Hudson (and potentially Sloane in a boss/assistant romance).

Maggie - YOU QUEEN! These characters are PERFECT. It’s truly a fantastic continuation of all the goodness from Before the Chaos! Quentin has the bad boy exterior but is a complete obsessed when it comes to HIS Madness. Mads has grown up so much, is a little jaded, but is so fierce in her job and for her loved ones. I cannot gush enough about the chemistry and spice between these MCs - so yummy. Every single thoughtful gesture and heart felt confession had me swooning. As usual, our side characters bring the whole story up to another level. I love all the cameos! My only ask - I need to see justice for the villain - like a full fledged take down. I’m still boiling about all of it. But also, I’m so very much here for the Bea and Cooper’s story next!

Audio Notes:
Dual Narration by Amy Hall and Lance Greenfield. This performance brought an already great book to life. Amy’s voice paired perfectly with Madison’s character. I would have preferred a different male narrator, as Quentin embodies a rough-around-the-edges professional quarterback. Lance’s voice lends more towards an academic sound. I would still highly recommend this audiobook - this story is full of angst, drama, tenderness and spice (all the best of romance).

“You have me twisted up, woman. So…. twisted up.” “Want to unwind? Call it quits?” He leaned away and his hands moved to my face, his fingers threading through the hair at my temples. “I don’t think I could quit you if I tried.” “Even if we fight?” “Especially when we fight.”

👊🏼Tropes:

✌🏼Vibes:
Whyyyy did I wait so long to start this series?? Griffin Eden is everything you want to see in a slightly grumpy work-obsessed rancher from a big family. Winslow Covington is the gorgeous breath of fresh air the town of Quincy needed - even if most of them think she’s too young for the job. That one night stand with the out of towner didn’t stay that way for long… the chemistry was off the charts. I adore their character and work ethic of our MCs. The only thing I really missed was a solid female support system for Winn. The family bond was solid. The suspense believable and unpredictable. The spice was mostly off page but still perfect! And I loved the epilogue and bonus epilogue. Can’t wait to read Book 2!

✋🏼Audio Notes:
Narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke. Perfect narration. Solid character voices, tone, and pacing. I was entranced the entire performance - the story and emotion was brought to life. I would highly recommend audiobook to any romantic suspense listener.
