Was this written for children?

I had two issues with this book.
1. It contains a lot of conjecture. words like maybe, could have been and perhaps are used heavily.As a former Catholic I'm sensitive to things not actually wriiten in the Bible.
2. It seems written for children in that he tries to make it interesting by pretending to go on trips through time and space with a guide. It seemed that the title should have been "Once upon a Time".

I listened but was annoyed by it. apparently some people liked it though.

Great story but unpleasant narration

I liked the story. Multiple scenes but easy to follow. Glad Marcus still plays a good guy that doesn't torture and kill without cause. works for me! Oh but narrator has garbled voice that is irritating to listen to.

Too long, not interesting

I've read several Reacher books but this one was too long and not many exciting escapes. Lots of torture and death. No redeeming character.

Even a good refreshers for Grandmas!

I had to get past the lullaby music playing while she spoke initially, but that only lasted a minute or two. She has a strong British accent but I pictured her as Daphne from the show Frasier and it was fine. I liked that she communicated the need to keep calm and talk softly and get to know your baby rather than try to push him or her to perform or meet goals. Don't shake rattles in their faces and generally be aware what it must be like for them. I recommend it for pregnant women and their spouses and Grandmas to be!

Another great book by an intelligent man who also has a gift of communicating complex things simply. He explodes myths in a clear, factual way. Thank you Dr. Sowell!

Awful. Christianity bashing and unconvincing

Sorry but the there were two things that bugged me. The conspiracy people were way out there and not believable. I also don't like Christianity bashing, which was throughout. If you are a "believer" don't bother with this one. It's just annoying.

Hard to get past the beginning but eventally all the chapters tie together. Long book but good.
