Perfect reading of a perfect story

I have read this amazing book but I loved to revisit in Audible. This story is beautiful, passionate, and soulful. I love the characters as they are so real and relatable. The Audible version brought tears/emotion just as the written word did. Bravo

Declan and Makenna -always remember your 1st king!

I was a new reader (and now a new listener) to Maya Hughes and this was my amazing introduction into her world of words. I am a huge fan of hockey and as I am from the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, I was pleased to find all the references to the Philadelphia Flyers, Rittenhouse, and other famous landmarks. Declan and Mak are "frenemies". Mak is the proverbial book worm while Declan is the typical jock but deep down there is so much more to these characters including passion and pain, love and tears but all is hidden so that no one may see the real person. Fast forward to senior year of college where these two are thrown together again in a class that they felt was assigned to them in error. Each must work together to pass so that they move on to achieve their future goals. Sometimes life is messy and plans do not follow your envisioned path. Will these two be able to put their differences aside to work towards a common goal and maybe discover that their is something appealing in each other. Jason Clarke and Emma Wilder are the perfect Declan and Mak!

If you have not read a Maya Hughes book?audible yet, this would make the "Perfect First". A romantic, slow burn that grabs you right from the start. Seph is the epitome of the perfect nerd math genius. Reece is the all around man on campus -good looking, football hero headed for the pros. Seph has led a sheltered life under the watchful eye of her controlling father. Now that she is working for her PHd at the age of 20, she is away from home and ready to live her life and fulfill her wish list. She decides to hold interviews to find the one who is going to help her lose her virginity. Reece unknowingly walks into this and feels a draw to Seph. The romance that follows is so beautiful it just draws you in. You will certainly want more from this group of friends and from the romantic mind of Maya Hughes. Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke are spot on with their portrayal of The Perfect Seph and Reece. Let their words carry you away to what was possibly your Perfect First.

Blindsided by this production/narration of Amy Daws heartwarming romance Blindsided

My usual M.O. when it comes to Audible books is to read them first just like I feel you should read the book before you see the movie. I made an exception in this case because Amy Daws writing has always been outstanding. I was not disappointed. Will Watt and Charlotte Cole breathed life into this story. Their performance brought on all the feels of this story. I laughed and cried right along with these amazing characters created by Amy Daws. Mac and Freya are the singles in their group. Best of friends but nothing more. Mac is a professional footballer, fun loving and somehow Freya's best mate. Freya is a seamstress, and miraculously manages to meet and befriend Mac even though she is normally a "behind the scenes" friend. She has learned to use humor to hide her insecurities. After an embarrassing game of never have I ever, Mac volunteers to help his mate in all matters of dating and seduction. The results are more than astounding when these two discover the secrets and the true feelings behind the masks they wear. Needless to say, my next step is to purchase this book to add to my collection of great stories of love.

It was worth the wait for one of the most amazing members of the Prescott family. The story of Jack and April began over 20 years ago. They were the couple "most meant to be" until April 's family had to move across country. Now circumstances have brought April back. Jack has decided that he is not going to waste another moment. He is going to win April back. This second chance story is second to none.

Becket Jones is simply the best and it was amazing to hear his voice along with Ivy.

Becket Jones is one the greatest quarterbacks and humanitarians of this century. He seemed to have it all in this life but was missing someone to share it with. When introduced to Ivy he thinks he may have found that someone but he has his work cut out for him since Ivy doesn't do relationships . Her job is to help people get out of relationships . Can they bring Ivy's dormant heart back to life? Amazing story brought to life!

Spooky and swoony with a dash of steam

What a unique story line concept. I love second chances and small towns. Max and Honey had it all on the surface but something was wrong. They divorced and shared the kids, but the love was still there. Could a family trip back to Max hometown in Nebraska bring them back to where they needed to be in their relationship? Tor Thom & Charley Ongel have done a superb job of bringing these characters to life. I look forward to more stories from this little town.

Never knew an MC book could be so hot until I listened to Duke

I am not usually into MC books but Rodney Falcon and Jax Hart have changed this for me. It was hot, mysterious and yet held a bit of romance as well. I am in a bit of a book hangover now and look forward to seeing who Rodney Falcon and Jax Hart will bring to life next.

Tor Thom and Charley Intel are spot on with their narration of Craving Me Kinky

I was blown away by this narration of one of my favorite books in the Mr Wrong Series by A. M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm. Tor Thom did a clever Italian accent that had me guessing as to whether he truly was from Italy. Charley Ongel's voice was actually as I had envisioned for Cassie. Their comedic timing and ability to bring me to tears was phenomenal. I highly recommend this audio book to all "readers" .

Wait With Me is a "Dawesome" audible book!

One of the most humorous, steamy, relevant, down to earth books I have read and now listened to. Amy Daws has managed to find something new and exciting to write about, everyday life! Her characters could be your neighbors or any of us. Inspiration can be found anywhere, even in the mundane like a Tire Depot. Kate and Miles are fighting the pull of attraction because they do not want to let their guard down. What would happen when the other would see the real person, their true feelings? They had each been wronged before and were not ready to go through heartache again. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton bring the words to life for all of us so that we can take a moment to find the humor in ourselves.
