Historia
Following a confrontation with her reclusive great-grandfather, the onetime Wizard of Oz, Rainary Ko, the granddaughter of Oz’s Wicked Witch of the West, has re-upped in a mission to settle a few scores and right a wrong or two. Her memory and her passions reviving, Rain turns her gaze back to her native Oz. While the Grimmerie, which she had cast into the sea, retains its arcane power over her, the lover she left behind in Oz proves no less haunting. Once bewitched, twice bewitching, Rain Ko must consider how to achieve a life less suffused with grief than the one she is enduring.

Revisado: 03-12-25
A disappointing ending to the series. I hope this really isn't the end. There are too many things not finished.

Historia
Renowned poet and critic Clive James presents the crowning achievement of his career: a monumental translation into English verse of Dante’s The Divine Comedy. The Divine Comedy is the precursor of modern literature, and this translation - decades in the making - gives us the entire epic as a single, coherent and compulsively listenable lyric poem. Written in the early 14th century and completed in 1321, the year of Dante’s death, The Divine Comedy is perhaps the greatest work of epic poetry ever composed.

Part one was very interesting and a great listen. Part two was so so. Part three was a snooze fest.

Wonderful reading of the word. Terrible audio file
Revisado: 08-21-23
Nothing but problems with the Audio file. No matter what device I was trying to listen on I would have to redownload load it at least once a week. It would stop working completely. This went on for an entire year that I was trying to listen.

Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

This classic deserves better

Good story. Sometimes hard to follow.
Revisado: 02-20-17
I have always enjoyed the story. But the audio book version was sometimes a little hard to follow.
They used multiple people for the voices of almost every character. Dependent on if it was a internal monologue or X ternal. This sometimes made it very confusing to follow who was talking.
Other than that. It was a good story.

great close to the series
Revisado: 01-28-17
despite the terrible storyline of book 3. I ventured onto the final book. Out of Oz. It did a very nice job of closing the stories of most of the characters throughout the series. Although I was very disappointed in the way the author finished a few of the characters.
one of the worst things and a book is when you have a main character with zero closure. It leaves the book feeling like it is undone.
despite that it had some very touching moments and was a great addition to the Land of Oz.
again, just be prepared to want to throw it across the room when you close the book. The lack of closure makes you want to rip your hair out.

not as expected
Revisado: 01-04-17
there were some very good interesting sideline stories that tied the other books together with us. But for the most part a very boring telling of the life of the Lion. I would have much rather heard more about the Scarecrow or the tin Woodsman.

great story. terrible reading
Revisado: 11-16-16
this is a great story in continuance of the series. However just as the first two books, the performance by the reader is terrible. All the characters sound exactly the same. the emotion is terrible. But it still has a good storyline.
