The Cajun dive in the middle of the godforsaken swamps wasn't exactly Trap Dawkins' idea of fun. But the GhostWalker wasn't there for a good time. He was looking for her. Cayenne. It's where she found her victims. Poor suckers. Then again, who wouldn't want to leave a place like this with a woman like her? It's not Cayenne's fault. I love all of the Ghostwalker stories. However, in this one I think Trip was too overly jealous and demanding. it was a little too jealous acting for me.

when I started the first book, I almost returned it. The narrator was very robotic with no inflection in his voice, but the story was really good. So, I stuck with it. I'm glad I did. The stories are all very good and it seems like the Narrator was able to get his stride. I'm looking forward to the next set of stories. This storyline has strong characters.

I really enjoy listening to this series. I love the development of the characters. However, this is the first book in the series that I paid for and was disappointed with the narrator. She speaks too clipped and formal. it's difficult to determine when she's changing characters sometimes.

I love the way Jeanine Frost weaves her stories and interweaves the same characters to enhance the stories. Tavia Gilbert is one of the best narrators I've every listened to. She knows how to bring the story to life. This was a great book.
